Ten Things You Never Needed to Know About Lemurian-Girl but She’s Going to Tell You Anyways
1. She’s totally obsessed with faeries. Sidhe especially (that’s pronounced shee.) She loves Faerie lore and Scottish mythology. Ask her about Cait Sith and instead of the Final Fantasy character, you’ll get a full dissertation on the mythological creature, from its etymology to the discovery of the Kellas Cat (also don’t pronounce it like “Cate Sith” around her if you want to live; the correct pronunciation is “Cat shee”). And she refuses to spell Bean Sidhe as banshee.
2. She loves musicals more than anything. Her favorite musicals are Wicked and Elisabeth. She listens to musicals not only in English but in German and Japanese too.
3. This has to do with #2 but deserves a number all by itself. She is a huge fan of Takarazuka, the Japanese all-female musical revue, proving that it takes real women to play real men.
4. She has five older siblings, four of whom are girls. That probably explains why she loves sibling relationships. She can relate when they start tearing each other’s hair out.
5. She has a Gaiaonline account. Her name is GreenEyedDryad. She doesn’t accept random friends requests so tell her who you are first.
6. Her favorite movie is The Princess Bride, which is incidentally also one of her favorite books. She likes Jane Austen a lot. Firefly is her favorite TV series.
7. The four languages she wants to learn before she dies are Scottish Gaelic, German, Japanese, and Italian. At least three of these should make sense by now.
8. She is a paranoid, neurotic perfectionist. She’s also very absentminded.
9. Her favorite genre of rock music is symphonic metal. She doesn’t like metal, power metal, or gothic metal. Just symphonic metal. Which is a pain to find good bands that aren’t too gothic or power.
10. She wants to be a novelist. This is probably the most obvious statement about her, hence the reason it is at the end of the list. But she does love to write. She loves to write very much. So she hopes you enjoy her fanfics and maybe a drop a note, be it through a PM or a review.
