Hi there!

I know that I should be writing and updating my fics, but i decided that my profile completely sucks and was in need of some serious revamping! So I guess I am going to tell everyone a little about myself.

Name: Ivy Zoe DuCote'

Nationality: Hispanic

Hobbies: I love playing the clarinet...but unfortunatly, mine got lost. I had it ever since I was in the fourth grade when all of a sudden...POOF! One day it just up'd and disappeared. Very sad.

I am a hard core X-Men fan. I've been collecting the comics ever since I was in Junior high and I have every episode of both the early 90's animated version and the Evolution series in DVD.

My favorite characters would have to be:

Gambit

Apocolypse

Rogue

Archangle

Cyclops

Multiple Man

I guess my favorite couples would have to be: Gambit/ Rogue. Cyclops/ Jean. Archangle/ Rogue.

I also sadly admit that I love Spongebob Sqaurpants. I know. I know. I think it may have to do with the fact that my son is just crazy about the character.

A little about me: Well. I am married to a wonderful man who, unfortunatly is overseas at the moment. He is in the Navy and I miss him so much! His name is Dustin Paul DuCote. He is beautiful, handsome and very funny. He can always make me laugh. He is a bit of a flirt with the ladies but I let it slide...I know it makes him feel good about himself. His background is Cajun and yes, we do live in Louisiana. Seriously, when I met him and he told me that his background was Cajun...I was like..."Those still exist?"

His grandmother is straight out of the Bayou also. I mean, one time we were invited over for a Crawfish Broil and she made some Gumbo because it is my husbands absolute favorite. Well, as I was about to dig into my plate I asked her what kind of Gumbo it was. She told me Squirrel. I'm serious. Squirrel. And it looked exactly like one too! Except without the head and tail. I could still see the poor things shoulders. But I sadly confessed that I ate the poor little squirrel. It was good too. I am so ashamed.

Anyway. I have a two year old son who is perfect in every way. He loves Spongebob and hates X-Men. It's so funny. Potty training isn't going so well though.

Works in progress: Well. I have two stories in progress. Green Eyed Monster & MASK.

I admitt that MASK has been put on hold. I just can't seem to be able to work on two stories at once. I just suck at it. I don't have enough focus you can say. I applaud all of you out there that can.

Green Eyed Monster is my baby. I love that story but I am afraid that by the end of it everone wll hate me. I have a thing for stories that end in very sad ways. I know... I'm weird. I am determined to finish it though. It may take awhile but I will finish.
