Okay, time to tell you a little bit about myself. I'm nearer to Jack Sparrow's (or his alter ego, Johnny Depp's) age than most of you, and have a teenage son, who thinks I'm incredibly sad! I hadn't written a story since I left school, more moons ago than I care to remember, then I got to know Hils through a LotR site and started reading her stories (highly recommended, by the way - you just need a spare week or so...), and thought "If she can, so can I..."
I enjoy all feedback except non-constructive critism, which serves no purpose whatsoever. I adore stories that make me laugh and try to put as much humour into mine as possible. It touches me very much when people continue to review Another Time, Another Place. I honestly didn't expect people to read it and it's a great thrill when they do.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been adding me to their favourite stories/authors lists, just lately, it is very flattering to think that you are still reading my stories after all this time. The subsequent films have skewed everything totally, of course, especially with Bootstrap and Will in the What Jack Sparrow Wants series :rolleyes: ;)

Hello again, folks! I am still astonished when I get alerts informing me that I have been added to someone's favourite author/story lists. It is astounding and I am very grateful.
I have a favour to ask - I am writing an original story (which won't be allowed to be posted on here, alas). It is a pirate story, but not PotC, and I need a beta. Hils helps, but she has her own stories to contend with, not to mention a busy life, so I'd be grateful (pathetically so!), if someone would be prepared to have a look and see what they think.
