Author has written 10 stories for Dragon Ball Z, and Ranma. Here’s a heads up as to why there’s hardly been any activity (that is to say updates or my reviewing stories) on my part. My wife has apparently inherited connective tissue weakness from her mom (or from someone down the line), and it has been proven that it’s inherited seeing as my sis-in-law and mom-in-law had similar problems. We’d just held onto the hope that she’d been spared, but meh. This means in consequence that she’s not allowed much of anything. In fact, going to the bathroom is only just allowed. A good friend of the family as well as our parents are rendering as much help as possible in the week and my mom and dad tend to Lucas, our two-and-a-half year old son, and you can imagine that it’s very strenuous for everyone involved. Anyway, I’ve tried to work on my stories as much as possible in spite of everything during the time I spend commuting, but I think it’s understandable that it’s hardly been productive. Here is what I have been up to in the last four months: - I have managed to revise Betrayal’s Reward 15 of and have come up with a better punishment for Nabiki after bouncing back and forth ideas with my sounding board, and I have also completed Chapter 16 which is now in for initial betaing; new Chapter 15 will go up a week before I'll publish the new chapter so that you guys can get 'reacquainted' with the story I don’t think the situation will improve in the foreseeable future, but I want to express my gratitude to my yahoo group for their support and well wishes and to my reviewers for wanting to see more of my work. You people coerce me to knuckle down with your comments (and I still read every review), make me want to just write, and that helps a lot in forgetting my troubles for a little while. Thanks! Updated 05-24-2009 Things are finally looking up at our place. My wife had an exam last Friday, and things haven't worsened! She still has to take it very slowly and is still bound by the previous restrictions, but (for the moment) there's no danger of her having to be taken to the hospital any moment. One of her blood parameters had given us an headache too, but that seems to be under control now as well. Seems like the li'l tyke's in good health as far as the docs can tell, and hoh boy, that's a relief! Updated 07-03-2009 Breaking news! Well, at least for my wife and me. After a trying and troublesome pregnancy our second son, Jaron, has been born. He weighed round about 3 kilograms and was 55 cm. The birth went very well (contrary to the pregnancy) for which I’m very thankful. We had a great female doctor and our midwife was just brilliant! Thanks to all of you who wished us well and kept your fingers crossed. It worked!! P.S.: I'll try to get back to anwering all the messages that have piled up in my diverse inboxes within the next few days, and I hope to get around to reading and reviewing the stories I used to keep track of. | |||||||
