Hey everybody. Oops, I didn't realize time was going by so fast. I have double checked the chapters of The Mistake, and reposted them now. All except for chapter 10. I have got some inspiration to write again (finally!), but I won't post anything until I wrote a bit more, to make sure I actually go somewhere with the story. It's just very frustrating that I want to write, but there is nothing decent coming out of my mind. I have also had to deal with a change in jobs (twice actually), and settling in with new workplaces, jobs and colleagues. Either way, I hope to be able to actually get somewhere with my stories.

I have started revising Drifting. Have uploaded the first 7 chapters again. Have also checked the rest of the written chapters, and hope to upload them later this month. I am working a full time job (40 hours a week), plus starting a 4-year course to become a Translator. So I'm going to be busy. Perhaps I will manage to finish the stories in between. I am not sure if I will post anything after that. Unless I have finished a story already. We'll see how it goes. Hope you find less grammar and spelling mistakes in the first 7 chapters of Drifting! I am planning on starting revising the Mistake soon as well.

Oh dear, I hadn't realized it was so long ago that I changed anything on this page. Goodness! As you can guess I came back to the Netherlands last year already, but moved to Belfast two months later (August 2007). Two months ago I stopped working there and moved back to the Netherlands again (wow, I keep on moving don't I?) Even though I had more regular use of a computer in New Zealand I didn't get much done. The computer wasn't mine after all, and I worked as an au-pair for a while, so the kids kept me bussy. Then in Belfast I hired a room in a house with two collegeaus. They had a computer, and I could use it from time to time. Not really a place where I wish to keep my stories on. So now I have finally bought a laptop, and I did start writing something, but it's still not for The Mistake and Drifting. It seems I just keep getting stuck with those stories. I figured I would go back to the first chapters and re-do some things, as there are several mistakes in the stories, as well as small hints to events that still had to happen. Trouble is: I can't remember what I had planned with those hints! In fact, I found my original planning for Drifting, and from chapter 6 onwards it doesn't fit anymore. Sure, I don't mind this, but it does mean I have to rethink my storylines, and map out the rest of the stories. On the bright side though: I follow a course in writing fiction (passed it too), so maybe it will help me along a bit. The only annoyance I have right now is that I am more interested in reading new stories, than writing my own.

Time to update this page again. At the moment I spend my last week in Western Australia. At least, untill sunday evening, then I fly to Sydney. I have written many ideas down in my book, but none for the Mistake and Drifting. I miss having my files to look over again, so I am getting to the point that I won't continue those stories untill I am really back home. Internet has been very limited, as I was fruitpicking in the middle of nowhere, and even though I now have more internet in Bunbury, it's expensive and I had 98 emails with updates waiting for me! Lots of reading to do in other words. Frankly, I am looking forward to going to New Zealand next week (eek, next week!) and staying there for several months. I am pretty certain I have regular use of a computer there, but fingers crossed. And thanks for all the people who still reviewed my stories during the last few months!

Well, I'm very sorry to have to say this, but all my stories are being put ON HOLD! I had planned on finishing Drifting before I would leave, but that didn't work out at all. I really hate it, but there's not much you can do when there's no good word coming out, right?

anyway, this tuesday I will leave to Australia, and after traveling and working for several months, I will go to New-Zealand in february. If it goes according to plan, I won't return home till june/july 2007. Perhaps I might be able to update inbetween (I do take pens and paper with me), but just to be sure I put my stories on hold. At least nobody can say: 'you promised to update while you're away, and you didn't! I'm gonna flame you via the internet!' Nope, i'm going to avoid that by just stating that you shouldn't expect any updates. However, once I return/ have the time again, I plan on finishing The Mistake and Drifting. Maybe I should give up on Angel though (but I just can't!) either way, I hope to have a good time, and hope you all have one too.
