Author has written 8 stories for Anime X-overs, Forever Knight, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Inuyasha, Gundam Wing/AC, and Kyo kara Maoh!/今日からマ王！. I'm a professional/published writer living in Northern California. Day job: technical writer. Fun job: writing historical fiction. I usually work with a co-author, and together we've published Sweeter Than Wine, a historical romance set in California's wine country and a Nebula-nominated historical fantasy/vampire series, The House of the Rose. The House of the Rose series are vampire novels set during the Crusades in the mid-13th century. The series is now complete, and available for download in Kindle format on Amazon.com and other ebook formats on Fictionwise.com. The titles, in order, are: Glass Souls (May 2005); House of Memory (May 2006); Broken Gods (April 2007), Queen of Heaven (October, 2007), and The Shattered Crown (May, 2008). I also have a solo historical romance, Twist of Honor, published in July 2007, which deals with the rocky relationship between a widowed countess in 17th century England and the commoner swordsman hired to kidnap her.
