Author has written 9 stories for Supernatural, Alex Rider, and High School Musical. NOTICE Saynt Jimmy has now become AbsolutAnda. Don't Panic. Gone crazy...be back soon. Anyway, despite what everyone may think based on my rather infrequent updates, I'm not in a coma; nor am I held up in a guerrilla camp in North Africa. So why the sparse updates? Well, one reason could be that I'm currently looking for a job, attending community college and preparing to transfer to UofM, all at the same time. Another could be that I'm trying to get the whole story finished before I post it (thanks to my new policy titled "Finish the Damn Story Before You Post So People Won't Be Choking On Their Rage Because You Never Update"). Another could be that I just have too many story ideas floating around in my head to actually think one story through all the way. But we all know that the real reason is that I'm just plain lazy. And I procrastinate to no end. So really, it's my own fault...sorry. I like to think I'm a well rounded person (due mostly to the fact that I'm a Waldork. If anyone actually knows what that is, tell me and I will love you forever) but I know that I'm actually just a freak with way too much spare time (contrary to what is stated in the paragraph above). I live in a very liberal area near Detroit so I'm open minded about pretty much anything. A large percentage of the area I live in is hippies, who scare me quite a bit. My dad was in the Air Force like the majority of my family tree (except my uncle who decided to do a stint in the Navy that didn't last long) so I have a deep respect for soldiers (and I seem to have a thing for pilots, but we're going to ignore that) while my mom is an artist who paints still-lifes for hours on end. (I don't understand how she can focus on something like that for so long!) And then my sister has found a healthy balance between the two...Musical Theatre...oh wait... Me? I'm 19, I enjoy photography and drawing, I'm interested in fashion (but I don't have the money to wear it), I'm planning to major in History, and I seem to have an addiction of sorts to all kinds of music. Between my sister's musical theatre, my mom's extensive record collection, and my dad's obsession with Santana, I've managed to scrape together a pretty eclectic library. I've been playing cello since third grade, so for a little over 9 years. I played piano for a few years too, but then I had to switch to a teacher who hated me and who just told me to quit so I haven't touched that in years. I like reading, but probably not as much as I should, and I tend to read 3 books all at once so all I remember from them is something about a British butler named Gatsby who fought the Germans in Russia and died from the Black Death (Jeeves and Wooster, The Great Gatsby, The White Guard and a history book on the Black Death). So that's where my head is at. Fun, yeah? For anyone curious about my story Carnivale, I'm in the process of rewriting it because, lets face it, so far it's been crap. So I'm revamping the story a bit and making it much more simple than what I originally had planned. I think this way is better...partially because now I can actually think through the whole story without confusing myself which, lets face it, isn't really all that hard to do. Carnivale Update 9/4/09: Since I finally got a laptop, I've been writing up a storm! This will be done in no time! (I'm really trying to get this done, I swear). I'm currently a part of The Firm, which has the first chapter of its first story up! Read it. Now. | |||||||||||
