Author has written 27 stories for Gatchaman, Lord of the Rings, Inuyasha, G-Force, Yu-Gi-Oh, Zorro, and Criminal Minds. 'Allo. Sorry, writing introductory things is not my strong point, so we're going to stick with the basics here. I'm a thirty-one old wife and mother who has been known to read, write or draw for hours on end, if the muse cooperates with me. However, between a home business, school, housework and three children (10, 5 and 2,) my writing time is rather limited, so my updates may not be on any regular basis. Free time and inspiration do not, unfortunately, always come hand in hand. And when inspiration does come, my muse is often so enthusiastic that she’s like a jumping bean, going from story to story with no time to actually write. When I write, I almost always try to stick as close to canon as I possibly can, though occasionally an idea may come to mind that takes things a bit off the beaten path. I say almost always because I’ll admit that certain series I love have gone in a total WTF direction in recent seasons, so I may be writing more AUs than I originally planned. I'm a natural romantic, so I make no apologies for the fact that most of my stories will contain fluff...whether that be in a small dose or a huge helping depends on the story. I don’t write angst well, but you never know what might happen in the future. One thing I enjoy doing in my writing is exploring the sides of a character that may not be seen in the show, for whatever reason. I've always felt that the face a person shows the world (or the show) is only a small part of them and it is interesting and sometimes surprising to see what I find when I try to look deeper into their minds. My reading and writing interests range far and wide. While the majority of my published writing to this point has been in the realms of Gatchaman and Criminal Minds, I have to admit that I have about sixty different stories in my ‘Ideas’ file to write now that college is coming to a close. While the majority of the ideas are still in those realms, others are slated for Zorro, Inuyasha and Yu-Gi-Oh, among others, to be written hopefully in the near future. I’ll also admit to a recent interest in Snow White and the Huntsman; a couple of ideas are brewing there too… Above all, I have not abandoned any of my ‘in progress’ stories and I apologize for the delays in updates. I can only blame a lack of free time and a fickle muse (I’m personally starting to suspect that she has ADHD, but that’s a story for another day!) They will be completed as soon as possible! Other favorites include the New World version of Zorro, Highlander, Ruroni Kenshin, Vandread, Hunter X Hunter, Witch Hunter Robin, M*A*S*H, House (seasons 1-3,) L&O: SVU, NCIS, JAG, Bones, Criminal Minds, J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings (I prefer the books to the movies,) Harry Potter (same here,) Snow White and the Huntsman, Jim Henson's Labyrinth (1986) various Disney films, and a wide variety of films, musicals, shows, and books. Much to my surprise, I’ve also recently become interested in superhero movies, courtesy of the Avengers, a genre I was never into very much in the past. I blame Chris Hemsworth for this sudden change! I’ve recently set up a profile on adultfanfiction.net; with the encouragement of some dear writing friends, I’ve begun to stretch my writing wings a bit and don’t really want to get my account deleted! So for my peace of mind, anything that strays too far into the ‘adult’ realm will be posted there, under the same penname. Should I write further lemons, I’ll post the links here as well. I only ask one courtesy from those who read my stories; no flames. When I choose to leave a review for a story, I always try to be positive and put any constructive criticism in the nicest way possible, and I fully expect others to do the same for me. If one decides that they object to something in a story, and no longer wish to read it, then by all means, don't read it, it certainly won't hurt my feelings if you don't. I do my best to not offend anyone in either my writing or my reviews so while I welcome constructive criticism, please, hold the petty, nasty comments. If you choose to leave a flame and sign the review, I will reply and I can promise it won't be pretty. If the flame is anonymous I will delete it without a second thought.
