And Simon Peter answered and said,
Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

If the story made you laugh or think, it was worth every backspace. And there were plenty of those!
Hiya! I'm an avid cartoon watcher and kids'-game fan who also loves to write and draw.
I
don't post a story unless 1) it's completed and 2) I think it's a
worthwhile read. Hence, I don't accept flames or heavy critique. Honest
opinions are just fine though! I am past the ultra-sensitive stage of
my long and glorious writing career. =)
Please feel free to email me.

Hey folks -- time for an update, methinks.
I'm still writing. I'm still drawing. I don't do as much of either as I wish. I could blame it all on my part-time job, but more of it is my fault; I get lazy, or wander in circles on my days off. But so far, I've always dusted off and tried again. Persistence... not native to my personality, I'm afraid, but if it's possible to acquire it by repeated application, I will.
College -- no more. I got tired of paying hard cash only to be fed canned trivia under the pretense that it was making me smarter. So I quit. If I go to school again, it will be for animation -- something I'm actually interested in learning. I've spent enough of my life doing what other people (erroneously) thought I "should." If I die without finally spending serious time on my art/stories, I will be mad. X)
Currently I'm engaged in a freeform research project, reading about anything and everything that catches my interest. Subjects thus far range from Ancient Egypt to Flash (as in the animation program). Psychology through the Dark Ages, up next.
I have many fanfics I want to finish, but I can't make any promises. I will write what I can. My goal is to archive 100k words here on FF.Net. After that, I dunno.
I do not write slash or adult material. Period. I believe in what is pure, even if it's rare. I believe in what is beautiful. I believe in what is, in the truest sense, real.
I welcome constructive criticism, but I also check it against my own standards. If something's genuinely wrong, I'll fix it, but I will not change a story just because somebody thinks I should. I have my own goals, and I believe they're valid.
My best hope for these stories is that they will give someone enjoyment and also encouragement. The best stories help us to face life as it is -- often by showing us what it should be, can be, or will be. Soli Deo gloria.
