I have a new "home page"! It's has a blog and everything. Come check it out... it's illustrated!

I'm an executive by trade, an astrophysicist by schooling, and a writer by passion. My biggest problem is that the fanfics I take on are way too big and complicated to finish quickly when you're also trying to run a multi-million dollar company. (I like writing fanfic but not as much as the people who work for me like having jobs :sigh:)

But I will finish Kaleidoscope, I promise.

I'm a huge fan of all the Final Fantasy games, as well as BtVS, but I tend to like the more rare ships, such as Squall/Quistis or Tidus/Rikku. I especially like when the story of a game or show or movie suggests a couple that the creators never intended -- take Wolverine & Rogue from X-Men: The Movie... that wasn't in the comics or animated series, but the writers make one little tweak for the big screen and there it is, plain as day. (And if you don't like W/R, keep it to yourself. This is my profile.)

I am still a fan of Heroes, despite it's recent decline, and I loved the sadly cancelled Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Oddly, with those two I'm a fan of the "obvious" ships: Paire (Peter/Claire) and JCam (John/Cameron). You can find me digging through these interests over at LiveJournal where my name, mysteriously, is "Kastellen". ("Galloway" was taken. :sigh:) If you're a JCam fan (and I'm calling it that until it catches on) you should visit the John & Cameron community at LJ where some fun is to be had. Oh! Oh! Very much also, visit CameronAndJohn.com which is, uhm, about Derek and Sarah. No! Just kidding. I think you can guess what it is about.

And now, at long last, I'm a Harry Potter fan. Just to be contrary, I am firmly a Harry/Hermione shipper. Okay, it's not to be contrary, but simply because I can't see Ron/Hermione or Harry/Ginny for the life of me; they absolutely make no sense to me whatsoever. (Update 10/30/09) In fact I've made a blog post about it.

Works in progress:

Kaleidoscope: My BtVS thingy. Yes, this is still in progress. I'm about halfway through and know exactly where it is going, I just need the time to devote to it.

Unsent and Reunions: a prequel and a sequel to my FFX/X2: Tikku Home. You do all want to know why Rikku was standing there with a sphere in her hand, right?

The Future Passed: a big ole' fat FFVIII: Quall I'm plotting out and for which I have some written. I may have to break it into two parallel works, the second called Universe Zero.

Stereopticon: If you can believe it, a sequel to Kaleidoscope :sigh:

Kinetophone: And while we're stretching reality, a sequel to Stereopticon.

I only post WIPs when they are seriously in progress, as in Kaleidoscope and Unsent. As an indication of this, behold the new chapter of Unsent, coming any minute now. Really.
