I am an insatiable reader. I read just about anything I can get my hands on. Any genre, fiction, non-fiction, any subject, I'll read it.
However, I am not a writer. No, I take that back, I am a reluctant writer. A few years ago a teacher told me I could not write worth crap and had no original thought, then she dropped me from her English class. After that, I was reluctant to write for any reason. I threw myself into the sciences, where writing is not necessary. Unfortunately, in college, I am a humanities major, and so writing has become a daily part of my life. Even so, only my professors read my work.
If for some reason I decide to post some of my writing here, please be gentle. Your reviews don't have to be all nice and fluffy, but I'd appreciate not having a repeat of my eleventh grade English class. Tell me what you liked and what you didn't like. I will give a warning in advance, when writing fiction, I am a fan of run-on sentences, fragments, and commas. I won't change that. It's how I am comfortable writing, and I will continue to write that way. If you don't like that, I'm sorry. Also, none of my work is beta'd. Like I said before, no one reads my work, so any grammatical or spelling errors are my own.
My story Coming Home is dedicated with all my love to my Miles. I wish you were that lucky. I wish you were able to come home to me. The story was written the day before Jeremy called me to tell me you'd died, and I decided to post it in your memory.
My ships include, but are not limited to:
