Hello! Hopefully this profile will reflect my suave and sophisticated personality, 'Trips over own feet. Falls down flight of stairs...' : D

So, not too much to know about me, except that I am 22 yrs old, and am a senior undergrad in college. I love college! (except for the papers...grrr papers...) I'm an English major, and plan to write fictitious novels (mostly sci-fi and fantasy) for a living. My dream is to be as successful as Stephen King or JKR! I've started work on my own book, but I still love to write fanfictions. Writing is what I am passionate about.

Last summer (2008), on the 4th of July I was admitted to the hospital for slurred speech, and dizziness among other symptoms. A week later I was diagnosed with Wilson's Disease. My body can't metabolize copper. Fortunately for me, it is treatable, and I am expected to make a full recovery. This disease ruined my life for a good long while, including my writing. Slowly I am returning to the pen.

I use my profile as a place for info on the status of my stories. I love many, many different genres and wish I had the time to write long, complicated stories (those are the best!) in all of them, but college kind of sucks away your time...funny how class does that...don't profs understand that fanfiction is more important than an 8-page paper?

So anywho, onto my stories...

THE BEGINNING OF A BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP: This is an AU story, taking place in the Moonlight universe. It spawned from a single idea I had randomly one day, 'What if Beth could see Mick's thoughts?' I liked the idea, and wrote up a little post, which then spawned this mini epic. I highly enjoyed writing this story...it's all about Mick, and Beth, and Josef. (Josef is my fav. character, so I had to bring him in!) COMPLETE. update 1/09: I have posted a 'bonus' chapter...a mini one shot--it's a missing scene from the main story.

I, JOSEF, IMMORTAL: This story I started developing in the midst of writing TBOABF. It's a look at Josef's entire life, gone into great detail as to events that have happened to him, and shaped him into the person we see in the show. I am excited to write this, as this story, for the most part, will focus exclusively on Josef. It's going to be pretty long, I'm thinking right now. ON HIATUS.

CATACLYSM: This story is a one-shot that I woke up one morning and just HAD to write. It's a piece on Josef mourning Sarah's death and thinking about committing suicide. I love Josef angst, and I also love the bond of deep brotherhood between Josef and Mick, so this one-shot let me play around with both of those. I was really nervous posting this, thinking it might come across as melodramatic, but the response has been great! COMPLETE.

MIRACLE: This story is all about a 'what if' scenario. What if Sarah woke up and Josef couldn't be there? I have been a huge Josef/Sarah shipper, so I'm looking forward to writing this and presenting my take on Sarah. This story will probably be at least 20 or so chapters, maybe much longer, maybe not. I've only got a vague outline at this point. ON HIATUS.

WANT: My very first slash fanfiction. It's from the Moonlight 'verse, and the pairing is Mick/Josef. I've been wanting to do a slash piece for some time. This story is just some mindless smut--it's my only NC-17 piece. Josef and Mick have sex on top of Josef's pool table. COMPLETE.

MOULIN DE LA GALETTE: This is a short story--also Moonlight. It compliments my other works, in which I have written that Josef owns this Impressionist painting. This is the back story to that painting and how Josef acquired it. ON HIATUS.

MOONLIGHT: This is a tongue in cheek spoof/parody of the Moonlight, and its characters. Was in a pretty snarky mood when I wrote this. COMPLETE.

ELEVENTH HOUR: Wrote this in response to a fanfic challenge on one of the Moonlight forums. The challenge was to write a fic, within two hours, following the prompt, 'An unexpected gift.' So this is what I came up with...Mick turning Beth, in a brief drabble. COMPLETE.

RENAISSANCE: This is a one-shot response to another fanfic challenge...it's a story about early Mick/Beth--when Beth is still a young girl, and Mick's watching over her. COMPLETE.

TRANSFORMATION: I was disappointed that nobody (well, almost nobody) reviewed this story, I thought HP people would like it. It's about Remus Lupin. It's a quick piece on Lupin turning into the werewolf. Lupin is my favorite character. : P COMPLETE.

WITHERED LEAVES: This was my first serious fanfic attempt. I'm really proud of this story, people seemed to like it a lot. Mirkwood catches on fire, corsairs attack, tons of Legolas angst, (but realistic angst, hopefully.) I really enjoyed writing it. It's an eighteen chapterer, (yes I'm aware that 'chapterer' is not a word) and it is finished. I wrote this back in High School. COMPLETE.

LORD OF THE RINGS RAP: This is a rap I wrote that explains what happens in the Fellowship of the Ring, (movie version...) I was taking this long car ride to Portland and came up with this idea, and then rapped it to my friend, (much to her "joy"). I may eventually (eventually meaning sometime between now and right before I die...) put the other two movies to rap, it's fun! You should try! (try it! try it! peer pressure! lol!) : D COMPLETE.

Those are my stories, read if you want to, I'd love a review. (but flamers make me really sad...please don't flame me! I'm sensitive. Seriously, you flame me, and I will cry!)

also, I apologize for how long it takes me to update my works, but I have three good reasons why it takes so long...

1. I am writing my own book with my own original characters and this is completely taking up all of my time every time I sit down to write...

2. I don't have a lot of time to type, updates usually take me at least a couple of hours...(well you say, then I should write in little bursts, every minute that I have, I should write, like when there's extra time to goof off in class or something...this leads me to reason number 3...)

3. I am lazy. ( I admit it. I am a terribly lazy writer, when we have time to goof-off in class, yeah, I sleep...sleep is such a beautiful thing...)

so anyways, be patient with me!!
