---

If you think you know me as a that Yami no Matsuei and Loveless fic writer who's just changed her name to something more obscure, then yes, it's me. :)

s e l f

Been a while since I was old enough to drink all around the world; I live in a country which in the winter is called the Second North Pole, otherwise known as Poland (yes, that is to say, I'm not a native speaker of English ;)), and I have way too many obsessions. In no particular order. Really.

t r i v i a

Never believe me when I say I'm writing a one-shot. It never ends there. My one-shots end up being 40,000 words long or longer. Most of the time.

Yami no Matsuei
LOVELESS

I worship Tatari with frightening regularity. Must be the best pairing I've ran across to date.

w a r n i n g

I don't take lightly to plagiarism. If you're about to steal from me, first consider this: I spend a lot of time writing my pieces. If I make them public, it means that I love them. And I hate it when someone doesn't care to respect that and plagiarize my work. So don't. I only look innocent.
Also, don't waste your time writing pointless flames, especially anonymous ones. I've succeeded in developing the Ultimate Potion of Doom, which can be vicious and its uses are many. Among the targets are: Mary Sues (especially in the YnM fandom), fanfic "authors" undeserving of the name who can't spell and/or format their stories, OOC-ness, general stupidity, and Pointless Flames (TM). The aforementioned Potion allowed me to perfect the art of making pointless flames backfire on the poster... :P

Other than that, I'm a very nice person. Really. You gotta love me :P

q u o t e s

"You must struggle, suffer even more. But you must never run away. Even if it is painful, suffocating, you must arise, like a phoenix. When the time comes, you will be even more powerful. The reason why you feel alone now is because the stars themselves around you are suffering, hesitating along with you. You will understand, when you grow stronger, and realize your surroundings. You are not alone. Live as you want to live. Ignore the destiny which torments you. And, in the end, laugh in its face. You can do it..."

Zaphkiel in Angel Sanctuary; vol. 2, ch. 11, p. 9

Some of my stories are not on FF.net, for one reason or another. If you like my writing and you'd like to keep yourself up to date with everything I write, a complete list of my Yami no Matsuei fanfiction can be found in my YnM Fanfiction LiveJournal (open for public view) and also on a currently under-construction fanfiction/recs Paper Wings website.

Yami no Matsuei - Morning Coffee (collection of 5 drabbles) : Complete
I had this idea that wouldn't leave - after so many years of both life and afterlife, neither Watari nor Tatsumi would be inclined to turn their respective worlds upside down on a whim. Sometimes the lack of apparent change is good; other times, it may complicate everything. But then, it takes luck - or lack thereof - to notice that the real change can be subtle, hidden in the little things. Technically, a part of the Gravity series, though not related to the plot.

Yami no Matsuei
- Absit Omen (side story to Against the Wind) :Complete
If you're reading Against the Wind, some of the ideas used in this story might be vaguely familiar. You might have (sort of) seen two scenes before, too. This is a side story - a backstory, really, to the abovementioned fic. That said, I think it's quite needless to repeat that this isn't canon. It's my take on Watari, and this is the story I came up with while developing the plot for AtW. It should work as a standalone (though you might want to read at least the AtW prologue along with it), and it should explain enough background to figure out where my Watari is coming from. :)

Yami no Matsuei - Brittle Glass (part I of the Gravity series, NOT archived here!) : Complete
Sanity’s a brittle thing, no? Each time it rattles on its uneasy foundation, there’s another crack in the shell. One crack too many and...
I've had this story in my head for months. Another Dark!Watari, this time... really dark. Never thought I'd actually write it, but I did. The reasons why it's not on FF.net are many, but I'd still like to give you a heads-up and let you know it exists. (read here)

Yami no Matsuei - Twelve O'clock (part XII of the Gravity series) : Complete
There is something enticing about Dark!Watari. I'm fully aware that this is not the kind of story most people will find to their liking; also, it is not one easily reviewed. I doubt it's likely for anyone to read it and say 'Cool update soon!' :P Perhaps the strangeness of this piece comes from the fact that even though it is a standalone, it still draws on my personal take on Watari as a multilayered, complex character, and the portrayal of him I have chosen for my stories - especially Against the Wind. It has no plot ties; though if you read between the lines you would probably find some, however irrelevant for this as a story in its own right.

Yami no Matsuei - Paper Wings (part XIV of the Gravity series) : Complete
After writing Wish, I couldn't get a certain image of Tatsumi out of my head. As a result, something to the effect of Tatsumi-muse showed up around me, casually took a seat on my bed with a cup of tea in his hand and, with that look, proceeded to persuade me to write part two. This is sort of a One Year Later continuation of Wish; the connection between the two (besides Tatari love) is more in the elements than in the plot, though actually in both ;)

Yami no Matsuei - Wish (part X of the Gravity series) : Complete
However. A word of explanation: this is very much outside of the plotverse of Against the Wind. Originally planned as a one-shot, it has since given me various ideas for short Watari/Tatsumi scenes, so it might develop into a series at some point, one of loosely connected one-shots like the above. I'm still considering that particular idea. (Later Edit: It did. As expected. :P See above.)

Yami no Matsuei - Against the Wind : Currently being written
Much as I would love to update this every other day or so, writing this story takes a lot out of me and so I'm taking my time with it. You might find it relieving to know, however, that most of the plot has been already developed and decided upon, so it stands a pretty good chance of getting finished, sooner or later. :) Remember: Feedback counts, lots. ;)

Yami no Matsuei - Desperado : Complete
If you're planning to read Against the Wind, I strongly suggest that you read this one first. The entire plot for the aforementioned happened because of the last scene in this fic. The way Against the Wind is written allows you to understand what is happening, but I believe reading Desperado first wouldn't hurt - it will give you a much better insight to where Watari and Tatsumi are both coming from with their actions.

Angel Sanctuary - Just This Once : Complete
Zaphkiel happens to be my favorite character in this manga. This is just a short character study on him I did to help my writer self wake up from long, deep slumber. I'm not planning to write anymore in this particular fandom, but I'm hoping this little contribution will be to your liking, should you decide to read it. :)

Van Helsing - The Hunter's Game : On Hiatus
I know, I know. It's been almost a year since my last update, and I apologize profusely to everyone who has been following me because of that story. It has been on hiatus all this time and as of right now it is still so; however, I am planning to finish it at some point or another. Please bear with me. :)

The Matrix - To Be Who I Am : Complete
I like Soren. He doesn't get nearly enough attention he deserves. That's about it, really. :) My take on Soren's childhood before he was unplugged, and his reasons behind the decision to aid Morpheus and his crew.

The Matrix - Questions : Complete
I wrote this at 6 in the morning, after having pulled an allnighter, because all of a sudden I had this one line in my head: "It's not like when the plug goes, everything goes." So, I decided to elaborate on it. A nameless unplugged member of a crew on a nameless ship, personally on the experience of leaving the Matrix and living in the real world.

The Matrix - The Choice : Discontinued.
I'm very sorry, but it's been ages since this story sort of died on me, and I'm not planning to go back to it. If someone would like to write a continuation of their own, though, let me know ;)

Silmarillion - A Cry in the Dark : Complete
This actually happened because of an RP. There was an RP once with my character, named Anoron. He needed a backstory. So I wrote one. :) It fits in the canon universe of Proffessor Tolkien alright, though; I'm a diehard Silmarillion fan, still, even though I have long since stopped writing in this universe.

more to come...
