The Book of Naruto

Uzumaki Naruto has been many things to many people. To some, he is a friend, a comrade, and perhaps even a hero. To others, he is an enemy, a nuisance, and a villain. But he's never been a god before.

Word of mouth has made Naruto into something of a legendary figure in the Country of the Wave. With the finding of an ancient scroll, his fame transforms into the birth of a new religion. Narutoism sweeps through the Elemental Countries and strange miracles begin to occur. When Naruto returns from his training trip with Jiraiya he must deal with the advances of strange robed freaks, hallucinations, a constantly over-crowded Ichiraku ramen stand, a worshipful Anko, and the rise of Kyuubi, Dark God extraordinaire, all while remaining ignorant of his apparent deification.
