I haven't written in a while. I'm in college, just about to begin my final year. Haven't been writing too much fanfiction lately. School keeps me too busy to write much other than theses and papers and the like.

My writing, I like to say, hinges on Ethan, my muse, who is fed up with acadamia and scholarly writing (I made him learn philosophy to help with some tough papers these last few quarters) and he's now off galavanting. Probably in Fiji with his boyfriend... the bum. I'm hoping he gets back soon, though. I'm starting work on my senior thesis, and I'm going to need all the help I can get, as much as he hates the dull work.

I stumbled into writting-as-a-hobby in the middle of high school and really enjoy it. Most of what I have posted so far is Digimon fanfiction (I used to post under the penname starsnake), but I'm no longer writing for that fandom. I was plunged head first into the Harry Potter fandom while abroad in Germany (my friend kept me sane by sending me fics and books and other such things - I love you Kimagure!) and started to get a few ideas of my own.

My favourite HP pairings are Harry/Neville, Hermione/Ron (you just can't deny this one), Oliver/Percy. I also really enjoy the cannon Harry/Ginny (minus growling monster in Harry's stomach). I have an Oliver/Percy in the works... from a while ago. I'll see if I can resurrect it. ;-P

I write because I have to. It's just one of those things that gets under your skin and never ever lets you go again. I post becuase I enjoy entertaining people. I write reviews because honest opinions help others to better improve or hone their talent. Please return the courtesy, I'd love to know what you think.
