Ciao a tutti. It's once again been a while since I updated this profile, so I thought I'd have another go at it.

My pen name is, as you've figured out by now, Kira of Tirmal. The name is from a character in one of my original fics, a novel I've been working on for several years and never quite seem to finish. (I didn't name myself after her--I hope that I'm not very much like her--but I do like her, in a roundabout kind of way. :P) I am a female American, old enough for the non-adults among my students to call me Ms. So-And-So, and young enough to feel self-conscious about the fact that they're not calling me by my first name. My passions are writing, singing, teaching, travelling, and chocolate. Most people who know me would say I'm either a Hufflepuff, a Ravenclaw, or a downright Huffleclaw. :)

Fanfictions will be almost exclusively Redwall- or Harry Potter-related romances. Don't expect all that many stories. I make up a TON of stories, write them down when I'm done with them, and then chicken out of posting them because it's been so long. I'm mostly on this site in order to read and review other people's stories--my favorites are anything Martin/Rose and anything Remus/Tonks that's T or lower (with a very few well-written exceptions)--so you will find me reviewing others' work more than posting my own. If you would like to review my two ancient stories, you are welcome to do so. No flames, please, but constructive criticism is more than welcome. Someday I'll post something newer, better and more reflective of the fact that I've since taken college-level short fiction workshops. Someday.

I'd also definitely like to point you in the direction of the writers on my favorite authors and favorite stories lists. I'm no literary critic, but there are some really good stories on this site, and...well, yeah. :)
