Hi. I suppose, if you're reading this, you're looking to learn something more about me. I'm female, 24, and majored in English and Medieval Studies in college. Writing dialogue comes easy for me; writing action does not. I tend to overuse semicolons (as evidenced by the previous sentence).
I follow a few fandoms, though my attention tends to cycle through them, usually settling on one or two at a time. At the moment, I'm focusing mostly on Ranma 1/2. I also follow Buffy, Andromeda, Firefly, FFVIII, Tales of Symphonia... and probably some others, to varying degrees. I have an idea for a Firefly fic bouncing around in my head, which I'll probably get to once I'm through with my current Ranma story. (It's so very hard to fight the temptation to import Firefly Chinese into Ranma...)
I tend to support canon pairings as a general rule, but there are exceptions--especially when there are multiple pairings supported in canon (I'm looking at you, Buffy). In the absence of canon pairings, I'm pretty flexible; I'll go along with whatever makes for a decent relationship for my favorite character(s). I enjoy slash sometimes, but seldom write it, since for many pairings I have a hard time making it believably in-character.
I apologize in advance if my writing drops off during the month of November. I participate in National Novel Writing Month ( www.nanowrimo.org ), and writing 1,667 words a day on a novel sometimes leaves little time for other stories.
Oh, and I really do plan on finishing that Andromeda fic eventually... I'm just not sure when. Apologies...
