Author has written 9 stories for Harry Potter, Angel, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, X-Men: The Movie, and Watchmen. Wow. It's amazing to look back and see how my writing has changed over the years. This is the second time I've renovated this page, and hopefully the last! I started writing fanfiction in eighth or ninth grade, then stopped for a while in high school. When I finally came back--came "home," in a sense :)--and looked back, the comparison in my writing (in style, plot, and general story quality) was so drastically different that I took down all the old ones. Now, another four years later, having finished my bachelor's degree in English, I look back on the things I started writed in my freshman year of college and again, I see how far my writing has evolved. So unfortunately for some of you who favorited some of my older, longer fanfics, I've taken almost all of them down. The only one still up from '03 is "The Quidditch Pitch," which is still a little melodramatic and a little too "pat," but which I have an obscene fondness for anyway. :) I really can't see myself writing much in the future, not fanfiction anyway. I don't have the time or patience at this point to finish a longer piece, and I don't like starting things if I'm not certain I can finish them. If inspiration strikes, then maybe I'll post a piece or two...otherwise, what you see is what you get. :) Thanks, everyone, and I'm sorry if you lost a beloved fic in the process of my clean-out. | |||||||||
