Upcoming Projects or Projects in Progress (Now with the titles to each individual story and story progress):

Upcoming Video Game Crossover- Starting Winter (That's December or January) 2011/2012. Please PM or E-Mail me for further details.

All Roads Lead to the Grand Festival (Minamoshipping)- Several of the stories and the tales that came about from my Valentine's Day effort 'Giving of Yourself' are coming together in this chaptered story. Now at over 150,000 words and with the companion story of how May and Kelly got together completed, this story appears to be going in the right direction. I'm looking at finishing it with no more than 55 chapters by the winter 2011.

Not Listening Has It's Advantages (FireredShipping)- Due to the great response to this one shot, I have decided to make it a chaptered story. Five chapters into this week, I've hit a nice rhythm, and have even decided to put in a three-part miniseries where Zoey and Ash get invited to a special hybrid contest/battle double team tournament in Arlington, Texas, USA at the new 100,000 seat Cowboys Stadium. One coordinator teams up with a trainer in the tournament. It is here that the two face off, and defeat, a new threat while attempting to gain notoriety overseas and strengthen their relationship at the same time.

A Confession Gone Awry (formerly 'Overcoming The Odds') (Pokemon- Appealshipping Romance)- Season Two Finale split in two chapters is now complete. Now back with Season Three. Season finale should come this February or March leading to the final season in June.

Sharing (Pokemon)-The chapters in arc two will be shorter than the ones in arc one due to the fact that the numerous elements and aspects of a rivalry, Nozomi's past, and problems that Hikari has with her family will be covered piece by piece. Now will be re-released later this spring. Stay tuned.

Finding That Which We Do Not Seek (SapphirePearlShipping)- This is a new planned work scheduled for release in mid to late September. Imagine a terribly depressed May, a Dawn more jovial than usual, a family destroyed by a mother's selfish actions, a daughter that doesn't want to understand, but eventually does, a thirteen-year-old serving as the comforter and mother figure for a fourteen-year-old, a three month tour of the United States for coordinators and a comic relief duo of Barry and Kenny. Do I have your attention, yet? Well imagine, also, that this will be my first 'for sure' work released on this site with lime to lemon content. Interested now? i thought so. PM me with more information on this. I'm working out the kinks of it as I write this and the notes are coming along real nicely, too.

Under Construction (PurpleVioletShipping or Kelly/Marina)- An 'All Roads' side story, and the first in the time line, where Kelly comes out to her folks, comes across Marina who had an argument with Jimmy, the two get together and Marina does something absolutely horrific to Kelly during a very vulnerable time in her life. This is a fall series with short chapters and frequent updates to accommodate my return to school with updates.

School Daze (BeautyandtheGeekShipping or Conway/Holly)- Another 'All Roads' side story, which takes place after 'Where Moonlit Roads Meet' where Conway and Holly get together during the fall 2008 semester at the Rustboro Academy. It's here that Kelly and May have their first date, as well. The initial two chapters have already been posted with the remainder being posted in the fall alongside 'Under Construction'.

One will (correctly) argue that if you are gonna give someone a list of things they can do, it only makes sense to also include a list of things they cannot do. I thought it was sort of funny, especially when his fellow representative says that it would be best for them not to sing the next verse. Enjoy...if for no other reason but shits and giggles as Boehner gets all joyous and gay on the house floor.

RANDOM THOUGHTS

09/30/2011- To Tide My Readers Over, Etc...

Still not dead, I'm very much here. I hit a snag in writing, but hopefully I'm past that now and I can show you this 'nuts and bolts' chapter of 'Finding' that needed some serious editing before I could even think of releasing it.

I have a new section of this page above displaying the scoring system for the American tournament in 'Finding'. I wanted to make it not seem too gimmicky in nature or favor mediocrity by awarding possible points for those who come into a match with a distinct advantage or disadvantage so the points are simple to understand but also offer some intrigue especially with the bonus points. I hope you like it and if you have any questions, please feel free to respond in PM, IM or e-mail. When I get back into the swing of that story, you'll want to watch that page for the running points total for the tournament as the story proper will highlight the key match-ups as doing all of them is bound to become monotonous.

If I'm up for it tonight or tomorrow, I might post a small sample of the chapter itself. Until then, this is Rave!

09/05/2011- What Was Supposed to Happen vs. What Did Happen

I hope, first of all, that everyone has a happy Labor Day. I spent the weekend at the first ever Baltimore Grand Prix where the promoters delivered an unforgettable experience and packed Charm City making it a fantastic venue and making it more likely that it will be on the IndyCar Series schedule to stay. Overall, well done Baltimore! You were able to rise from local criticism and controversy to silence them all in delivering a sell out and what I would imagine were the promised 100,000 plus fans. I write this still tired from the safe but fun weekend and ready to get back into the swing of things.

Speaking of which, writing chapter 10 of 'Finding' has taken a tad bit longer than I thought. Momentum was not on my side after losing power for two days due to Hurricane Irene and reading books during much of that time. Despite that, getting back into the story and incorporating a few more elements should be enough to deliver a complete chapter along with a nice cliffhanger for chapter 11. I know I might have said that 10 would start a hiatus for the story, but I'm now thinking that will be pushed back to chapter 12 (or 13).

Finally, the surprise, chapter 43 of 'All Roads Lead to the Grand Festival'. For those that didn't know, that was the surprise and that would be the update that was to come today. The combination of Mother Nature and the Baltimore Grand Prix would not allow that to happen, but I think I can redeem myself for that within the next week or two. I know what I have to write and chapter 43 will lead into what fans of that story have patiently been waiting for in the Grand Festival proper.

Please, as always, stay tuned and until next time, this is Rave!

08/30/2011- Damn You, Irene!

Okay, got my power back on at 2:00pm today since having it off on early Sunday morning. So today is the first day I can work on chapter 10 of 'Finding' and the surprise update. Maybe I won't be secret about it especially if I can finish it by Labor Day. Wish me luck going forward with this.

08/24/2011- Current Plans

First off, DAMN THAT EARTHQUAKE SCARED ME! Seriously, I had no idea what happened until it was happening, and it made for great conversation around the house, the family and at work. Given that Maryland rarely gets earthquakes, this was quite the event. My mom and dad, who are 55 and 54 respectively, never experienced one. Neither did my co-workers and, of course, myself. Overall, I'm glad everyone appears to be safe and people can go back to their places of work and business very soon...with their own stories to tell.

With that said, it's now time to reveal current plans for the next week and a half. I'll start with non-fanfiction related news. I've just purchased my tickets to the Baltimore Grand Prix from September 2nd-4th. Also my cousin has a free ticket to the Maryland State Fair for me and that's good until Sept. 5th. The next two weeks should be frantic, but I'm planning on getting out the tenth chapter of 'Finding' on Saturday or beforehand.

The difference between this racing experience and Dover is that I will commute back and forth from my home each day leaving me time to work on projects, but realistically, I should be whipped each day I come back so that doesn't leave me much time to devote to my planned surprise. I'll have a week to work on it, and I'm sure people will anticipate the update. More information to come on this secret next week but I'm hopeful that everyone can see it before Labor Day. Stay tuned!

Until then, it's been Rave!

08/15/2011- Quickie Update

Chapter six of 'Finding That Which We Do Not Seek' is coming tonight (or tomorrow depending on where you live) and I'll likely follow that up with an additional chapter of that story next week. I'm well aware that a lot of time has been spent on this story but the upcoming chapter nine should be the last one for another two months or so as I work on my other stories. This chapter will also feature my first ever lemon on this site. Until now, I've only had lime content, but no more!

The next update might be 'Confession', but I do have some other things I'd like to tackle and am not absolutely certain I can do this. As always stay tuned.

Finally, congrats to NASCAR driver Marcos Ambrose, nicknamed 'The Tasmanian Devil' for his Aussie origins, on his first career win. I'm sure you're daughter will understand why daddy missed driving her to her first day of school. Cherish when she kisses you, mate, as I'm sure it'll be sweeter than any victory lane kiss. Again, congratulations and all the best for the remainder of the year. You're a class act!

Until next time, this is Rave!

08/02/2011- Quick Update

Chapter six of 'Finding That Which We Do Not Seek' is up and chapter seven is likely gonna be up tomorrow morning. Then comes chapter eight and we finally send off the coordinators to take on America. Stay with me in the story content because it all sets the foundation for the trip starting chapter nine in all likelihood. I want to finally get a 'Not Listening' chapter up, but I can't make any guarantees because I set aside this month for a 'Confession' chapter as I can't see another one of those coming until November. I'll do my best and see what comes of it.

Until next time...

07/11/2011- So Where Have I Been?

Okay, this probably should've come on Thursday but my internet connection went and I didn't get it back until the weekend. Nevertheless I'm here with another update. I promise not to make this one too long.

I've got updates ready and updates posted as well. Under Construction's chapter is finally out and that story's ball is starting to roll. My goal for the week is to get not one but two chapters of 'Finding That Which We Do Not Seek' out The two chapters will lead to bon voyage for the lucky thirty-two as they make their first stop in the Pacific Ocean and Honolulu, Hawaii.

I don't know, but I think I've hit somewhat of a writer's block with 'Not Listening Has Its Advantages'. I have a chapter that's about 20% complete, but I'm not sure where to go in between that and another arc you can find on this page. I don't know what the middle ground should be. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them in a PM only. I'll respond to them as soon as I can.

I finished my last college course (Internship) with an "A+" grade. I have unofficially graduated as of June 28th, 2011. I say unofficially, because students cannot graduate during the summer so my official semester of graduation will be Fall of 2011. Nevertheless, I have enough credits to earn a degree in my major of video production (by the way, if the program was available when I came in, my minor would have been screenwriting).

I would not expect chapters of 'All Roads Lead to the Grand Festival' until at least next month. I have to get together with a friend to iron out some details with his original characters and the chapters should roll on from there because they lead into the final act of the Grand Festival proper. A new chapter or two of 'Under Construction' by the end of this month is not out of the question.

Finally, in the case of keeping notes because you never know when you'll need them, I don't have issues with future chapters of stories like 'Sailor's Song' and 'A Confession Gone Awry'. I just need to dig back into my notes and find out where to go next in those stories. I know I didn't throw them away because I don't do that and most of them are on notepads, but once I get them together and get my mind right on those stories, watch out. I might write one or two 'Sailor's Song' chapters next week because an idea came to me for that story in recent weeks and I've been hammering out some text there.

All in all I ask that you stay tuned. Until next time, this is Rave!

05/18/2011- Guess Who's Back? (Pretty Long Update)

Hey, guys. Rave here and I'm so happy to say that I'm back safe and sound from vacation in Delaware. The NASCAR weekend (my very first) was a blast. They don't lie when they say you haven't seen it until you've seen it live and I will do it again. When? I don't know, but an IndyCar Grand Prix is coming near my area this Labor Day Weekend, so that's probably my next racing outing. Within the week, I want to do justice to the weekend and make an entry detailing my entire weekend. All those interested are encouraged to keep their eyes on this page.

Now to other matters for now. I wanted to update the page yesterday, but I spent that entire day working with the family on home repairs. We're making great progress, but it takes time. I couldn't get on then, so I'm using this space to say that although I'm back home, I don't know when I'll find the time to write within the next three to five days.

Summer school starts on the 24th of this month. I don't have to attend every day, but that will interfere with midday writing temporarily. Fortunately, I have only one class this summer and that ends June 28th. Should all go well, I'll have enough credits to FINALLY graduate! Keep me in your thoughts.

I want to send my thanks to all those who read and enjoyed chapter 28 of 'Confession'. Whether you had criticism or praise and addressed it via a review, I ask that you be patient. I will respond to all correspondence, but it might take some time given how hectic and erratic my schedule will be these next few days even after vacation and the end of spring semester.

So with the chapter in the can, to turn a phrase, my next goal is to work on the next chapters of both 'Not Listening Has Its Advantages' (FireRedShipping) and 'Under Construction' (PurpleVioletShipping). Both chapters have already been started, they just need to be finished and my current goal is to have them finished before the Electronic Entertainment Expo begins this June 7th. Just need to get my butt in gear and finish them both is all.

I wanted to do my best to put a moratorium on any new projects until the winter but with so many tempting ideas, that's not an easy feat to accomplish. Do not be surprised if you see something new from me that you either didn't expect or came out of left field. Right now, though, if I do this new and unexpected thing, do not expect any further effort put into it besides that one shot work. After all, I have projects to finish.

What else? I guess that covers just about everything...that was so long, it might be in need of an epilogue. Hmmm...maybe I should work on that someday, too. :)

Until next time, this is Rave!

05/13/2011- Enjoy the Chapter.

So, it's finally here; the 28th chapter of 'Confession'. Now, like I said, don't feel bad if you review and I don't respond because I'm on vacation as of 8am EST this Friday. I'll come back and be sure to respond to as much as I can by Tuesday. I eagerly look forward to hearing from everyone and, again, hope you enjoy what I've written!

05/07/2011- Okay, I (Sort of) Lied...(FINAL UPDATE BEFORE CHAPTER RELEASE)

So I wanted to get this update out this morning to let you in on my progress on the 'Confession' chapter. It's now at 4,000 words. By Sunday night/early Monday morning, I'd be surprised if it's not at 8,000-9,000 words. So the likelihood of a Friday morning release is very high right now. I'm so impressed with how the story is flowing right now and I'm not even out of the first scene (and that should give you a hint of what the opening chapter will contain). It's as if the story is writing itself but I'm not complaining and by Friday, you shouldn't either. I can't speculate on when chapter 29 will be released, but I'll aim for July and see what happens.

Until whenever, this is Rave!

UPDATE: Now at 5,000 words. I'm rolling!

UPDATE #2: At more than 8,000 words as of 5:30pm on 05/09. A Friday morning release looks very probable.

UPDATE #3: Now at more than 9,000 words on May 10th. Still in line for Thursday night/Friday morning release. At this point it's one long, but extensive and continuous scene with an interesting surprise at the end.

UPDATE #4: I'm nearing 10,000 words as of 7pm on May 12th. Still in good shape and still haven't put in the pre-tease. Every fan of 'Confession' will get their wish sooner than later. Again, most will likely read the chapter on Friday.

05/05/2011- (Probably) The Second to Last Update For a Bit...

And by 'a bit', I mean about five to ten days, honestly. The initial thousand or so words of 'Confession' have been written and the rest should come along nicely IF I STICK TO MY NOTES.

Please keep me in my thoughts as I make my vacation to Dover in about a week's time. Weather for the weekend looks great and I am really anxious to go to my first NASCAR weekend!

Final class this semester will be this Thursday, during which I will have to complete a paper. Should I divide my time appropriately, I'll have both done in time. Again, wish me luck.

Until then, this is Rave!

04/26/2011- I Know, I Know (Actually Longer Than I Thought)...

Just be patient with me on this one. Another thousand words or so and a restructuring of chapter 42 of 'All Roads' and it will be done and released. None of this will affect 'Confession's' chapter release, but the holiday weekend did not free me up like I thought it would. Unexpected friends stopping by contributed to that and a desire to watch The Passion of the Christ again (don't ask, seriously), but it's all good as I'll get back to writing the chapter on Wednesday morning.

A couple of other things to note during this time. It is very likely that after 'Confession' is written (hopefully before May 13th), I'll work on two to three chapters of 'Not Listening Has Its Advantages' leading up to early June when I will be REALLY free in terms of time. More of that to come in a future update.

I've mentioned May 13th-May 15th in previous updates. Well, that will be the day of my first NASCAR weekend in Dover, Delaware and I couldn't be more excited for it happening. I will post by May 17th-20th, how it went and might even post some pictures.

Should things come together the way I think, writing the chapter to my most viewed story before that weekend will be a nice cap off and I think with the chapter I have planned, a lot of stories will start to come together in preparation for its end in about 10-13 chapters. This chapter should be considered the beginning of the end for that story, which, I might add, began as a 3,000-word one shot. It's now nearly 300,000 words. Amazing.

And now that I think about it, May 13th, 2011 will, in fact, mark the fourth anniversary of the story leaving me even MORE incentive to get this chapter out!

As a final note to DOESNTLIKEBRACES, while I appreciate you and everyone else's excitement given this news, the object of getting back into writing was directed more in progressing my existing stories for now. That doesn't necessarily mean that NO new stories will come out during this time, though. On that same note, however, if you have an idea for me (because I couldn't quite think of one in the time I've digested your PM) message me back and I'll see what I can do.

I guess that's it unless to say until next time, this is Rave!

04/19/2011- Next Update...

The 42nd chapter of 'All Roads Lead to the Grand Festival' will be released no later than April 23rd, but that's a lowball estimation and the chapter should probably show up earlier. Afterwards, what most people have probably been waiting for (if I'm to believe my own poll) will be worked on and I expect to complete that no later than May 13th, should all go right. I say May 13th, because that's when I go on a weekend vacation. I will not be available for IMs or PMs until the afternoon of May 16th. If anyone wants to contact me between now and then, please feel free.

I'll probably write more about the vacation in the next update, until next time, this is Rave!

03/30/2011- Update...

Now it's official. I don't know if fanfiction.net's technical support kicked in or what (I never got a message from them back), but I was able to update 'Finding That Which We Do Not Seek' this afternoon. It's already got a nice number of hits and all I have to say about the chapter is...poor Dawn. By the way, please review that chapter and take the advice from the last update on the bottom of this page.

In any case, it's time for the next fic! My poll is up for people who are interested in my next fic. That's getting a fine response as well. Keep going with the reviews, PMs and response!

Until next time...

03/28/2011- Important News...

I'm unofficially back! No seriously, I finished a chapter for the first time in several months and I'm really excited about this one! It's the next chapter to 'Finding That Which We Do Not Seek'. There's one problem, though. FF.net is showing an error message when I try to add the chapter, but it's written and when support e-mails me back (unless people know how to heal this error which, curiously, only affects my Pokemon and Digimon fics) I will post it ASAP. If you've forgotten some key points I would recommend reading chapters one and two to understand the upcoming five.

While I'm here, many, many thanks to all the people who've continued to favorite me including the five new people on my favorite authors list. While your here, please be sure to check out my poll. Enough response means your favorite fic of mine will get an update sooner than later.

Until next time...
