Author has written 19 stories for Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Harry Potter, Final Fantasy VII, and Saiyuki. Name: Schala Zeal Location: Arizona, USA Age: mid twenties I don't read or write shounen-ai or yaoi fics. I may have some listed on my favorite stories list, but if I like the story when I start reading it I add it to the list and if some yaoi starts appearing in the fic I stop reading the story, but I usually forget to remove it from my list. OCs are necessary support characters, but I abhor stories where the OC becomes the focus of the story as opposed to the main character in the anime, game, book, movie, etc. I'm reading these fanfiction stories because I liked the original characters. I have no desire to be introduced to new fictional characters, especially when the author places themselves in the story. That turns the OC into a Mary Sue who is sure to steal the spotlight from whichever character I was reading the story to see. Also, I dislike it when people discontinue their stories, but I do understand that life can get in the way. However, it is unacceptable that the stories are not removed. If you have no intentions of finishing a story, delete it. It is a waste of time to read a story that will not be finished and those notes are usually not found until the last posted chapter. If you are not going to complete the story, then delete it. Don't put "Discontinued" in the summary, because most people don't want to read it if the story is not finished, anyway. Just delete it. Plain and simple. By the way, I have just finished watching the last Yu Yu Hakusho DVD and it was made clear that Hiei and Kurama are NOT gay, in both versions (English and Japanese). I have also been following the manga as much as possible and have as of yet not come across anything the indicates romantic relationship between them one way or another, so I cannot say anything about that just yet. However, for every author who likes that pairing, your stories are basically AU according to the anime. All titles in bold, italics and underlined fonts are stories that are finished and posted. Stories in italics and underlined fonts are in-progress. Titles in normal font are working titles for ideas that may or may not come to fruition at an undefined future date. Also, my fics currently follow two different story lines, if you will. They can pretty much be read in any order, but you will better understand some of the comments made in the later stories if you read them chronologically. Rachisuru Shireru Anraku Foe from the Past All other stories are not currently part of a series and are pretty much stand alone fics. I may come up with companion stories to one or more of these fics, but for now they are on their own. The order in which they are read, obviously, does not matter.
