Author has written 26 stories for Harry Potter, Miracle, Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, Ugly Betty, Emma, Mansfield Park, Tudors, and Sense and Sensibility. I'm a high school English teacher. I love to read and my favorite books are "Persuasion" (Jane Austen), "The Lord of the Rings" (JRR Tolkien), "The Princess Bride" (William Goldman), most things by Madeleine L'Engle and C.S. Lewis, everything by Jasper Fforde, and anything about the Middle East. Some of my favorite movies are "Singin' in the Rain", "The Philadelphia Story", "The Lord of the Rings", "Gladiator", "Braveheart", "Roman Holiday", and "Fiddler on the Roof." Writing is one of my favorite forms of procrastination, however it doesn't get very much attention these days. Knitting is the biggest, closely followed by thinking about designing knitting patterns. And then there is my love of baseball...which may well find its way into its own story in the future. I'm from Michigan but I have also lived in Pais Vasco, Spain. I generally set my stories in the Midwest-usually Michigan because I've heard that you write best when you write about what you know. I love coffee and I adore tea. My hobbies include reading, knitting, designing knitting patterns, watching baseball, cooking, and baking. My characters are generally-at least in part-reflections of me or people I know. I want my stories, my characters to be realistic and remind you of real life. | |||||||
