Author has written 39 stories for Gilmore Girls. 9/30/07 Lots of things are happening... While I realize I have several stories still uncompleted, the pace of their updated has slowed to a near crawl. Not even a crawl, really. More like a drunken stumble forward at best. Sure, I miss the days of near-constant updating, but I also miss sleeping comfortably for more than two hours in a row. And eating Jimmy Johns subs. And wearing my normal clothes. Being pregnant sure is fun. But totally worth it. And because lots of things are changing here in my world, I thought I'd drop a note here to let anyone that is still reading my fics (uncompleted, though there are plenty of completed ones to choose from, should you like a proper ending in a fast manner) that as of Nov 1, 2007, I'll be going on official hiatus. Meaning, I have no idea when there might be another update. I won't say never, but it's fair to say they'll get really neglected. For a while. I'll be spending the month of October doing as much as I can to wrap up any loose ends, but since I've been going so slowly for the last few months, I don't have much hope. Why Nov, you ask? Well, I'll be leaving work (which you might think would allow me more time to write--and you'd be half right) and participating in NaNoWriMo, because frankly, it's something I've always wanted to do, and it's my last month of freedom before forever becoming someone's mother. Which should happen in December--and after that, it'll be all about her. So, wish me a productive October (or at least root for whatever fic of mine you might be reading to get finished) and I wish happy reading to all of you! a | |||||||||
