DISCLAIMER FOR EVERYTHING I WRITE:
I own nothing you all recognize, and probably some stuff you don't.
Hey! check out my livejournal! Sometimes I post things that I don't post here!
UPDATE: 9 September 2007. New story: the art of contentment up. I am still working on Alpha and Omega--for such a vignette piece, it requires a crapload of research, and Dark Roses as well. Approximate update dates for those two: Alpha and Omega by October 31, 2007 and Dark Roses by December 31, 2007. Sorry for the wait...::sobs::
March 1, 2005.
One year and two days since I posted my first fanfiction...wow. It sure has gone by fast. I posted my one-year anniversary celebration piece (which I have been working on for...a long time. When I really began to like it, about a month ago, I decided it was to be my celebratory piece.) It is a 10x100, AU fic about Eponine and Montparnasse with a dash of Marius and the Lark. I couldn't remember if it was fifty-four Rue Plumet or fifty-five, and I was too lazy to check my book. Sorry.
I'd also like to thank you all for your kind reviews to stay here; I didn't think it would be so well-liked. But I'm really glad it is--it's probably my favorite work.

Ongoing Works::
Dark Roses: Section: Fairy Tales; Rating: high PG-13; Genre: Romance/Angst/Mystery. One hundred years ago, give or take a few, the Queen vanished. One hundred years ago, give or take a few, a young, vain, embittered woman was turned into a wolf. Now, it's up to a merchant's son to turn her back. How? True love, of course. But the path is far from easy, and things are never as they appear. Caught in a collection of masterpiece coincidences--or is it a conspiracy?--Calix Merchantson and Beast, the wolf, must find themselves and seek the truth, both for their survival and that of those they love. A retelling of Beauty and the Beast.
horrors: Section: Fairy Tales; Rating: R, for limey content, violence, pervese sexual content, including rape, pedophilia, necrophilia, and if you think it's perverse, homosexuality; Genre: Horror/Romance/Action/Adventure/Mystery. The fate of the world rests in the hands of a girl who has never been anything but a pawn in the plans of others. Bound by silver, brands, and spells, Ariadne is forced to kill a race that should have never existed in the first place. Ignorant, bitter, terrified, and angry, Ariadne uncovers secrets about her past and her powers, and is plunged into a five-hundred year slumber. When awakened, she is bound again, only to fall in love with her captor. Hatred and love do not clash, but walk hand in hand, and, in the end, the truth will not be denied. Dark, morbid, angsty retelling of Sleeping Beauty.
Sign of the Second Derivative: Section: Sherwood Smith; Rating: PG-13; Genre: Romance/Drama/Humor. The life of Elestra Rensleaus, from childhood past the revolution and well into Meliara's and Vidanric's reign. Epic, and nowhere near finished, and won't be for a long, long time, since my muse has gone into a coma on it. I will finish it before I die, though, I promise. Chapter 16 is 0 percent done, because I only have the slightest inkling of what's coming next.
Alpha and OmegaSection: Rurouni Kenshin; Rating: PG; Genre: General/Drama. Kaoru, from birth until page one of volume one. More vignette-ish and less story-ish, though there are three kind of story-arcish things, it's very vague like that.
Good quotes:
"We should take care not to make the intellect our god; it has, of course, powerful muscles, but no personality." --Albert Einstein, who is my hero.
"Die."
"Okay."
"I'm waiting..."
"Give me a few minutes!" -a dialogue between Weston, a friend of mine, and me.
"Beware Eponine, the evil vampiress! Mwahahaha!" -Obsetress, in the story "Thinks, courtesy of 'Ponine"
"The shortest distance between two idiots is the square root of a bycicle."
"Do not scoff at the easily amused, for they are never bored."-both of those were from Alex, a senior in my school play. He's awesome.
"We'll be right back to out nature documentary, 'Baggy: the anorexic elephant,' in just a moment." Colin from Whose Line is it anyway?.
"More than once I've awakened
with tears running down my cheeks
I have had to think whether
I was crying or whether it
was involuntary like drooling"
--From a bench at the Minneapolis Sculpture garden.
"If you chip us, will we not flake? If you moisten us, will we not grow moss?" -Victor the gargoyle from The Hunchback of Notre Dame the movie
