Hi all, I'm tenshi, the light of hope.

I figured I'd write a bit about myself so that if I comment on your story you can check that I'm not actually a rabid fangirl, or if I ever manage to finish a story and post it then you can read a bit about the person who brought you that piece of imagination.

The creative arts are my life's pursuit. I'm an opera singer and hope to end up with this as my profession. I have played piano for fourteen years and violin for eleven. I'm also an aspiring composer, and am currently working on a big project that I hope to finish soon. I am also a dancer - I do ballet, contemporary and jazz/broadway. I also love acting and drama, thus my pursuit of a life on the stage.

Aside from my performing ambitions, I also love drawing, painting and photography, and devote as much time to them as I can. I also thoroughly enjoy writing and have been working on a novel seemingly forever, but I can just never seem to be able to transfer my ideas to the paper with any consistancy. I also started some fanfics but never posted them because I hate when people start stories and then don't ever finish them (especially when they're a compelling read)!

Anyway, I love anime and manga, some of my favourites being Bleach, Trinity Blood, Kimi no Todoke, Immortal Rain, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Fullmetal Alchemist. I also love JDramas, such as Hana Kimi, Atashinchi no Danshi and Hana Yori Dango. My taste in movies is pretty broad; to name a few of my favourites The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pride and Prejudice, Twilight (that's right, I'm a total twihard fangirl), The Princess Bride, The Holiday, The Illusionist, P.S. I Love You and V for Vendetta. My taste in books is similar, but I have to go by authors: Tamora Pierce, J. R. R. Tolkien, Jaclyn Moriarty, Jane Austen, Jill Dobson and J. K. Rowling. TheTwilight Saga! Once you start, you can't put it down.

My taste in music is rather eclectic, and I will listen to everything from Wicked the Musical to Mayday Parade to The Living End to Jpop and Jrock to Muse to the soundtrack from Pride and Prejudice. I listen to whatever fits my mood. The only thing I hands down reject is rap. Speaking over a drum beat is not music.

That's pretty much an accurate summary. Feel free to pm me if you want to say hi or gush over Taylor Lautner's biceps in New Moon. :P What can I say? Shiny silver volvos make me squeal like a fangirl.
