Inkcharm

It has been much too long since my last update. I apologize to all readers out there... please be assured that I have not abandoned any of my ongoing works. Some things just kept me from writing, and time flew by much too fast. But let us say that I have had a hard time getting back in the right state of mind to write something that is worth publishing - or even keeping. I can't tell you how often I have opened a document, wrote one sentence, deleted it and stared at the blank page for hours... I am trying to get back on track with a few mild ficlets, so that I'll be able to return to my larger works as soon as possible - and with the ability to do not only them but also you, my dear readers, justice. Please bear with me - I'll try to give you something to read soon.

I highly enjoy quite a few shows and fandoms, though it is rare these days that I actually write and publish what is running through my head. Currently I'm quite into Avatar: The Last Airbender, though, and it inspires me to write. Recently I have stumbled across the JRock-fandom, and upon watching the movie Moonchild my muses have returned to me. I've written quite a few fics for that fandom which I'll be sharing with you soon. I do hope my Avatar-muses will return as well.

Also, I'm working on my own novel and quite a few short stories connected to said novel. FanFiction comes second to that. I try to update regularly anyway.

In the past 9 years I have written fanfiction for a lot of fandoms including, but not limited to, Buffy/Angel, Dragonball Z, Criminal Minds, Harry Potter, Final Fantasy X, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Criminal Minds, The Lord of the Rings and quite a whole bunch of others.

I prefer to write in English, though it is not my mother tongue. Please bear with any mistakes you find. I love when people point these mistakes out to me, but please refrain from flaming me for them.

I am a bookworm, there's no denying that. I'm not happy if I start my day without a good book at my side, and I usually take a book with me wherever I go. Just as in writing, I prefer to read English books. I have a particular weakness for swords and sorcery, meaning the classic fantasy type of books, but also various experimental kinds of fantasy that make do without elves and dwarves. I almost prefer the latter, to be honest.

I also love computer games, roleplaying games and adventures in particular and I kind of always end up playing magicians. Wonder what that says about me?

I'd like to believe I was one of a kind, though I sure am not.

I consider myself somewhat of a wannabe-artist. I am a writer of sorts, a roleplayer of sorts, just some meaningless girl of sorts. I love the written word.

So I will write.

Multichapter titles I'm working on:

Twilight - Avatar: The Last Airbender - Working on Chapter 8: Scars
When Hakoda notices Zuko's constant tenseness he offers him some sparring to ease up. Zuko accepts. But when Katara hears that her father disappeared with Zuko, she snaps. Finding them "fighting" each other on the training grounds, she attacks Zuko with a water whip. In her anger she even adds a few ice shards to the whip and slashes it straight into Zuko's face, which starts bleeding badly. Shocked by what she has done, Katara runs off, followed by Aang, while Suki, Sokka and Hakoda discover that the damage is worse then they thought at first glance - Katara accidently hit Zuko's eyes, and although he is not really blind he can't see without mindblowing pain. He is forced to wear a bandage across his eyes. After a hard sparring session with Toph, Zuko has gained some new tricks and some new injuries. But Katara is there. Surely, she will heal him. Or will she?

Into the Dark - Avatar: The Last Airbender - Working on Chapter 3: ??
10 years have passed since Ozai was defeated. Peace has been restored and all four nations are working together towards building a better future. Every year at the annual celebration of the end of the war the old Gaang meets up again and stays in the Fire Lord's house for a month to catch up with each other and take a break from their respective responsibilities. They also take this time to remember what has been taken from them in the last battle, for not all of them came out of it in one piece. This year, though, the Fire Lord will send them on yet another painful and dangerous quest, for trouble is brewing deep within the Fire Nation. Will they ever find what they believe to be lost? Will they ever be able to fix what has been broken? Finding Zuko is their task - but not all of them are willing to believe that he is still alive...

Fade to Black - Avatar: the Last Airbender - Working on Prologue
Maiko, character death: Mai did not only love Zuko enough to save his life, she also loved him enough to try and escape with him on the gondola. She should have feared Azula more. By the time they reach the Temple, Zuko is cradling a dead Mai in his arms. It will take everyone's help for him to cope with her death and overcome his grief in time.

Sequel to Lie To Me; Toko, Teoph: On her sixteenth birthday Toph ponders a promise Zuko once sealed with the ghost of a kiss. Rumors are flying about the Fire Lord intending to find a Lady for himself, while Toph herself has to make a decision - is she willing to wait for someone who might never come, or should she try and love the person who is by her side all the time?

Precious: Attraction - working title - Beyblade
Tala/Kai: A few years into the future, everything seems to be such a struggle for Tala, Spencer and Bryan. Life treats them roughly, but they are still too stubborn to accept the financial support Kai is offering them. Will anything change when Kai decides to move in? Or will there even be much more trouble when Tala and Kai start circling in each other in a dance of attraction?

Howl - working title - Beyblade
Tala/Kai, Rei/Kai, Tala/Rei: Rei has his eyes set out for Tala who does not seem interested at all. But deep down, Rei just knows that they are meant to be. What would be a better way to get his attention than making him jealous at the upcoming Beyblade Christmas Party? Problem is: Everyone with the potential to make Tala jealous already has a date. Everyone... except Kai, who's known for having a crush on Rei.
