Author has written 12 stories for Final Fantasy VII, and Final Fantasy VIII. Hi! I'm Quinkie, and I write mostly FF7 fanfiction, along with my poetry and songs. Well, I've decided that the summary room for ff.net stories is disgustingly too small. So...I'm going to give descriptions of my FF7 chaptered fics up here. FF7: Resurrection. Completed in 1998. The story centers around the character of Raieyana, a 16 year old girl who was genetically engineered in a lab by Hojo, supposedly from the cells of Aeris Gainsborough and the Turk, Tseng Amine. Shinra has reformed, with a new president, and is after 6 orbs of White materia to perform some sort of resurrection spell... Reunion: The sequel to Resurrection. Completed in early 2000. It is seven years later, and the party finds themselves in many different places than they expected. A seemingly dead Shinra has revived itself precisely at the time that ex-SOLDIERs are becoming ill. The illusion of peace begins to fade as unresolved issues come to a head. After all this time, the party still has not begun to understand the force they have been fighting against. Redemption: Final installment of trilogy. I'd say I'm halfway. This fact scares me. Fourteen years have passed since the Mako explosion made Midgar completely uninhabitable. The child whose birth was the beacon for the Reunion has now grown up living a lie. Many truths become exposed in the lives of all involved in the Reunion, exposing webs of deceit, sadness, and loss. As an everlasting darkness approaches...the night hides fears in the shadows, but true redemption lies only in the light. Evolution of Innocence: The ARF fic to end all ARF fics (please...stop them!) Aeris returns in an original way. However, her return is not perfection, but rather against the natural order of things. How will she, and everyone else, deal with the pain of the past, and the problems of the future? (Completed in Aug. 2002) Tarnished Side: AU. Twist on the Wutai War brings us a Shinra half finished, a general shamed, a scientist executed, and a group trying to bring an evil company down. For their own reasons. Mix in some of my OCs from Resurrection, rinse and repeat. Forever May Not Be Long Enough- Eclipse into Light, the contest fic I made...which then won the first All that Glitters is Cold fanfic competition! I'm so proud! It's so depressing! I really like this fic, and it's a shorty for me, only in the 15,000 word range. It's probably the shortest thing of mine you'll ever see, so if you want to start small, start with it. :D E Pluribus Unum: I consider this to be another "challenge" type fic. Basically, I had a thought one day that there's only one way to write a believable FFVII/FFVIII crossover fic. Then I wanted to enter another fanfic contest, so I wrote this story.
