I have 0 stories posted.
Um, so, I'm not really into writing since I'm terrible at it. I doubt I'll post much. I only joined so that I could sign reviews and maybe share some ideas. Also I get to list my favorite stories and authors for easy references.
I claim to come here mostly to read "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel." The truth is I found this place looking for "Lizzie McGuire
" stories because I want to know what happenes after Rome. It's kinda weird for me, I know. But the only reason I started watching Lizzie was because of Buffy, so that's my excuse. Besides that, there are some cartoons and animes like "He-Man," "Kim Possible," "Yu-Gi-Oh," and "Rurouni Kenshin."
Nowadays, I'm mostly coming here for "High School Musical," other Disney shows, and "Sky High" fics that aren't unoriginal Mary-Sues.
Types of stories I'm into:
Fluff (who isn't?)
-Comedies
-Romantic dramas
-Stories that deal with real tough issues, like depression, suicide, peer pressure, identity, abuse, addiction, neglect, etc. They may be called "controversial," but it's not like this stuff doesn't happen.
High School Musical
-Troyella (duh!)
-Kelsi-centric stories. She wasn't necessarily my favorite character in the movie, but I like what authors are doing to give more to the "shy girl" character. There's alot about Kelsi to explore: Why is she so quiet and timid? What inspired her songs? Who does she like? (I think Jason 'ships, aka Jelsis, are ok, but to me it was the most forced couple in the movie. To me, pairing her with Ryan makes more sense, then Troy if he's not with Gabriela.)

-Troypay is starting to grow on me after reading a bunch of good ones.
Buffy & Angel
-Post finales
-Xander-centrics (He's the coolest geek ever)
-Dawn/Xander ships (preferably post Chosen, when she's of age)
-Dawn/Conner ships
-Conner's identity issues
-Favorite Slayers-in-training: 1. Amanda 2. Chloe 3. Vi 4. Caridad
Sky High
-Isn't it funny that a lot of deep, angst-filled writing came from a Disney movie about teenaged superheroes in training?
-Will/Layla
Lizzie McGuire
-After Rome stories/Movie sequels
-Anything by Ladyravan99
-Lizzie/Gordo ship (fluff, hookups, breakups, and love triangles)
-Miranda/Gordo ship (there's heat between these 2) and
-The best love triangle ever: L/G
/M (The passion, the jealousy, and the heartbreak make this an outstanding drama plot, happy ending or not. L feeling betrayed by MG; M afraid she's 2nd best and guilty she's stealing G; G conflicted about hurting one of his best friends.)
Kim Possible
-Ron-centric stories - Ron going solo, stepping out of Kim's shadow, or Ron vs. Kim (He's the second coolest geek ever).
-Kim/Ron ships are okay, but in the actual show, I just don't see them like that (Except maybe the X-mas episode, and now also "Emotion Sickness").
-Actualy, other than Classic Cowboy, I don't read much KP anymore. (as of 2004)
He-man (rarely read as of 2005)
-Adam dealing with his secret
-Teela/Adam ship
Rurouni Kenshin
-Kenshin/Koaru ship
-Sano/Megumi ship
Quotes:
Jon Stewart, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart:
-Were you sent here to blow my mind?
-On the Patriot Act - Critics say that act has curtailed civil liberties while doing little to actually aid the war on terror, while supporters say 'Stop saying that!'
-Even if the flag burning amendment does become law, the larger problem will remain of how to respectfully dispose of older, tattered flags. Well, fortunately the U.S. official Flag Code has a suggestion about this. Quote: 'The flag, when it is in such a condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem of display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.' Owwwwcchh. In response, the House Republicans are calling for tattered flags to be kept alive via a feeding tube.
-On a Republican spoof video comparing Democrats to the evil Empire in Star Wars - "Evil Democrat Empire?" I got news for you, if we're going to do the Star Wars analogy, the Democrats are, at best, Ewoks. At best! Believe me, you'd be pumping up their egos to call them Jawas.
Comedian Mitch Hedberg (1968-2005):
-My apartment is infested with koala bears. It's the cutest infestation ever. Way better than cockroaches. When I turn on the light, a bunch of koala bears scatter, but I don't want them too. I'm like, "Hey... Hold on fellas... Let me hold one of you, and feed you a leaf." Koala bears are so cute, why do they have to be so far away from me? We need to ship a few over, so I can hold one, and pat it on its head.
-My friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, I said "No, but I want a regular banana later, so, Yeah."
-I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.
-I'm against picketing, but I don't know how to show it.
-I want to be a race car passenger: just a guy who bugs the driver. "Say man, can I turn on the radio? You should slow down. Why do we gotta keep going in circles? Can I put my feet out the window? Man, you really like Tide..."
-I never joined the army because at ease was never that easy to me. Seemed rather uptight still. I don't relax by parting my legs slightly and putting my hands behind my back. That does not equal ease. At ease was not being in the military. I am at ease, bro, because I am not in the military.
-and then at the end of the letter I like to write "P.S. - this is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.
Jay Leno:
-Federal authorities are investigating whether or not Martha Stewart violated rules of her house arrest when she attend a Time magazine gala last week. Meanwhile, there is no news yet on the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden.
-Tom DeLay is in a little bit of trouble. He says he didn't know that lobbying groups were illegally funding the trips he took all over the world. Don't you love this? When ever these guys are running for office they always tell us how smart they are, how knowledgeable they are, how they know what's going on. As soon as they get caught doing something wrong 'I'm an idiot. I didn't know what was going on.'
-The hand grenade thrown at President Bush turned out to be real. The Secret Service said today they're examining whether security changes need to be made. Duh! ... Somebody walks up and throws a hand grenade at the president and I can't get on a plane because I have a nose clipper -- hello? There's something wrong.
-The White House is still very upset about this. They said Newsweek should have retracted the story as soon they found out they got its facts wrong. If we pulled back every time we got our facts wrong, we wouldn't even be in Iraq.
-What a nightmare I had last night. I dreamed I was at a Washington party and I had to choose between Dick Cheney taking me on a hunting trip or Ted Kennedy driving me home.
