Status: If you couldn't tell from my list of fanfiction projects at the bottom of my profile, I have a lot to juggle. After I pull up one more chapter of Shadow Tempest, I have a few short one-shot-esque fics... And because I'm working on a double major, my updates will be sporadic and random as always.

New C2 Opening: If you feel your story belongs in "Stormie: Diamonds in the Rough", let me know which story (or stories) you are putting up for consideration. I don't believe that a good story will include a lot of typos, so my base standard is letting 1 typo slide per 1000 words. I also don't believe in fangirl Japanese, or, in general, using romanized Japanese for anything other than proper nouns. I enjoy cleverly executed stories. If you know yourself to (1) take a lot of care in writing your stories, (2) not review whore, (3) and proofread many times, feel free to submit your story for consideration.

About Me: I hate shit!fics and Sue!fics. I particularly hate CanonChar/Mary Sue fics. I will go out of my way to report stories with blatant disregard for the English language, as well as real people fics (coughJonasBrotherscough). I will flame terrible stories. As you can see, a lot of one-sided-ness in order to avoid tampering with canon too much, but I guess I still put up a mutual love between Itachi and the OC Sairin. Ivory is in love with Carlisle, but he already loves Esme. Draco Malfoy loves Dianthe, and she couldn't care less about him. The point is to have some sexual tension. Some other pairings look crack-ish, but given my timeline, not completely improbable.

Thoughts on OCs: As long as they are well-written, I don't mind them. I will burn Mary Sue's and Gary Stu's, but I'm fine with OC's that fit in with the fandom. The only exceptions are in real-person fics. I don't care how well-written the OC is; if someday I become famous, I do NOT want kids writing about me committing incest with my "long-lost twin brother" or something.

5.Fate: Tears Within Ice ~I found something out. This was renamed "Only in Sweet Memories". Only I didn't remember. So now! This is the title for my FE6 fic. Rutger/OC. My OC is an Ice Mamkute named Artemis.Pre-FE6, Yahn tells Artemis to flee from the Dragon Temple and she goes to Sacae where she meets Rutger as a child. She dons the mask of a Bern noble girl trained as a Troubadour. Years later, she appears in Roy's Etrurian Army as a Swordfighter. Rutger has not forgotten her. And still he does not know her secret. Summary: "It must have been fate. Fate drove me to a chance meeting where I met the only man I ever loved. Fate eventually forced the man I loved to turn his blade on me. Fate then made him shed tears for me. But fate didn't win."

6.Sotto Mezameru ~Half the fanfics are placing characters into fairytales. A friend randomly named Sleeping Beauty of the Wood, and Sotto Mezameru is my variation. This is using IY chars. As of June 2007, I cannot find the text, so I'm going to have to redo this.

7.The Black Fang High School serial! ~At Black Fang High School, students are tested on their first day. this test determines whether they go to the normal academic program, or the special top secret combat program. Pay attention students, class is now in session! NOTE: I have seen too many of these. I want to show you people the right way to do so.

8.To Last~ (tentative title) Anyway, focuses on Valkyrie of Black Fang, the Blue Crow. Takes place somewhat alternate universe, is still in the works. She is born the princess of Etruria, but on the day of her birth, Etruria Palace is attacked. Her father King Flavius dies, her mother escapes with her. Queen Iolande survives with newborn Princess Dionne. A couple days in, the assassins who killed Flavius find Iolande and they fight (Iolande is a Sage). The passing Black Fang do their best to help, but are too late to save Iolande. They rescue Princess Dionne, not knowing the newborn's name, they name her Ursula.

9.Shinobi Fairy Tales~ What did you expect? Randomness to the utmost in retellings of traditional fairy tales! On hiatus, I lost my manuscript, AND I need to be more random. Expect "Three Little Pigs, er, Rays of Sunshine" next though.

10.Silver Rain~ I'm not sure what I want to use this title for. Either it is for a YYH fic, or it's for an RK fic. If on RK, this centers around the only daughter of Shinsengumi Squad Captain Harada Sanosuke. She is only eight years old in the year 1868. This follows her life from then on out after her father's death.

11. Oppression ~ FFQ Challenge #2 Year 2007 Quarter I. Rewrite a protagonist as a villain or vice versa. A princess, or rather a queen, so dark... All fall at her feet.

12. The Wolf and the Moon~ Howl's Moving Castle fic. Howl/Sophie. Their relationship is strained when an ex-friend-with-benefits whom Howl holds dearly returns amidst the war.

13. Dark Skies~ Death Note fic. One woman believed in Kira's ideals. Now, she wants him dead for killing her secretly beloved. With a mind as unstable as any, she forms twisted strategies which seem to have no logic except for herself.

14. The End of the Night: Aurore~ A fic based on the movie Moon Child. Essentially adds a female main character to balance it out, since it's not only guys involved in criminal activities depicted. Slight pairings, but no coupled ending; I like the movie because it's so focused on the friendship and not on the romantic love.

15. Chasing Stardust / Midnight Sun ~ Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series fic. It looks into a small window of the Cullens' lives. Just one infinitely small fraction of their long lives. There are a few OCs, although it mostly centers on one. Edward is telling Bella a little bit about what he's seen. Bella feels a stab of envy, as she is still just human... Two OCs, a couple minors, and Bella cope... but Bella eventually comes to a realization. Pairings: Edward/Bella (this fic does not center on romance). HIATUS - focusing on other projects.

16. Running ~ CSI fic. It's semi-crossover, including the cast of the Las Vegas and Miami teams. It introduces four notable OC's: Heather's goddaughter, two homicide victims, and the serial killer responsible.

17. Resonant Aria in the Looking Glass ~ Star Ocean 3. Albel reflects on the happiest and most heartbreaking moments of his life before the very end after Cliff and Fate tease him about an old photograph. AlbelxNel.

18. Crimson Regret ~ Shakugan no Shana drabble. I really want to challenge myself by writing a fic to a story that I feel has no holes I want to fill.

19. Driven ~ Lenalee and friends explain to Allen just why Kanda is the way he is and how he used to be much like Allen. No current pairings, but Kanda has an unrequited love in flashback.

20. Queen of the Promised Land ~ A closer look at Lady Brunier of the Bern Dragon Generals: her love for her country, her love for her king.

21. Deseo for Men ~ Sue Parody. Starring two Mary Sue's: Devonny and Deseo. Twilight fandom. Devonny is beautiful and perfect. Deseo is the complete opposite of her name: she is plain-faced, average in height, with an athletic build... and can never seem to say the right things.

22. The Flower that Blossoms in Autumn ~ Umeda and Mizuki have a chat and delve into the tale of the first female who attempted to attend Ousaka under the guise of a male student, a woman who is her strongest when others are on their decline, and the reason why Umeda is no longer attracted to females.

23. NCIS long-epic story ~ A girl's adoptive Iranian father is nearly murdered by a bomb planted under his car. When metro police refuse to take her case seriously because her adoptive parents are from Iran, she turns to an old family friend whom she parted on cold terms with over a year ago. Too bad that friend wasn't actually mad at her; the only reason Jenny Shepard never called again was because she died on 05/24/2008. OC involved (naturally). Not a real Mary Sue, but a bit of a fixer-Sue: there to facilitate canon characters' interactions. Sexual tension, but the only pairing is really Jethro/Jenny.

24. Pitch-Black ~ NCIS fic focusing on Ari, Kate, Ziva, Talia, and Gibbs. set in the same universe as the epic mentioned above. More like a side story of the epic, but the subject matter warrants a separate fic. One-sided Gibbs/Kate, one-sided Ari/Kate.

How they grew up, why the world sees they've split up, a lot of it's centered on a sometimes depressive Bellatrix's feelings as she and her friends one by one fall into the darkness..

Revelation c/w Apocalypse ~ The Wizard Heir one-shot

First Snow~ An FE9 plot bunny I've allowed to mutate for a very long time. I only finally got around to putting it in writing for the FESS FFQ Challenge #1 Year 2006 Quarter IV. It is now finished; I am waiting for critique before posting here. As of the release of FE10, this fic is 100 impossible to fit in the canon.

FFQ 3~ Dusk and Daybreak ~ More or less a vignette written for a challenge. The challenge was to write a short teaser chapter on the FE10: Goddess of the Dawn. A brief scene featuring Mikaya, Yune, Ike, and Senerio.

FFQ 4~ Anarchy ~ What would one of the Fire Emblem games have been like if one character had not existed?

Progress Description!

1. Shadow Tempest~ Chapter 7 Sasuke has run away. Sairin takes chase in a rage until she is reunited with a friend she has not seen in a very long time. Time passes and Sairin's heart wavers. Chapter 8 is the Timeskip chapter, with a surprise twist which ruins Sairin's mind in the first year (12.5 years - 13 years). It mostly focuses on that one antagonist, and how Sairin survives it with unstable support from Itachi, no support from Sasuke, and dependence on new friends. Chapter 9 is the rest of the Timeskip (14-15) elaborating mostly on new friendships, and resolving old feuds.

Other chapters:

Chapter One: A little twelve year old girl searching for her family has nearly given up. A friend had told her that Konoha was her best bet. After several visits to Konoha, she found nothing. However, upon hearing of the chuunin exams, she returns to Konoha.

Chapter Two: Intermission chapter. After being pulled out of the chuunin exams, she finds allies and of course, those who irritate her. The well-being of one friend, the very one who tipped her off, etches into her concern.

Chapter Three-Four: Slightly introduction to her friends she had made during her four year absence from Konoha. Bombshells are dropped as she learns that another one of her friends has passed on. Sairin shows her true angsty side as she declares that with so much suffering going on, no one can complain, since everyone else is feeling the same. Her words are proven more true as she watches the fight between Neji and Naruto, as the assistant to Mitarashi Anko. More information appears about how she managed to survive the four years.

Chapter Five: Sasuke has returned to fight his fight, but it's broken up anyway. Anko sends Sairin to chase after Sasuke. She is useless in the fight, as she did not have the courage to disobey her childhood friend. At the aftermath, Sairin is told that the Hokage was deeply regretful for her situation. Had he been a bit wiser four years ago, she would not have had to spend four years alone. Sairin's self-image issues resurface. Sairin tries to do whatever she can for Sasuke, understanding his feelings. On a lighter note, her friendship with Ino has given her some stability. This ends when the ninja of Konoha find the Akatsuki duo.

Chapter Six: She and Sakura both worry over Sasuke's health after the encounter with Itachi and Kisame. The jounin of Konoha now know Sairin and Itachi's true story, but what remains to be done is unknown. At the end of the encounter, Itachi had left a note on Sasuke, but throughtout their stay at the hospital, and even after, no one had found the note. By now, everyone knew that the Shadow Princess and the performer Satomi were one person, and not only that, they knew that that one person was the Uchiha Sairin. Eventually Neji stops behaving so much as a war-driven child, but that less unpleasant conversation was cut short by Sasuke and Naruto's rooftop brawl. Afterwards, Sairin waits for Sasuke in his room. Soon, she falls asleep... when the night is broken by a single ray of dawn, Sairin sees that Sasuke is gone.

Chapter Seven: Wealth doesn't buy friendship, but... Situations cause memories. A loophole to attaining Mangekyou Sharingan exists, and is proven by Sairin and Itachi. The Hyuuga and the Uchiha have an unspoken, unwritten alliance. Upon meeting an old friend, Sairin's heart begins to waiver.

Chapter Eight: Time Skip - a tribute to her fallen friends, and to her new friends. Alliances are remade as word of the loss of Sasuke to Orochimaru spreads. The project to retrieve Sasuke begins. Someone who could hardly be called a loving friend questions Sairin about her love for Itachi: where do her feelings stem from?

Chapter Nine: A scandal erupts as a former enemy resurfaces. Uchiha Shisui did not die, and now that Sasuke is gone, he wants to claim his positon as Uchiha heir.
