Am currently reviewing my story The Claiming of Harry Potter, and have drawn out a format for the next chapter, but somehow can't get to write it after the first draft mysteriously disappeared. I'm Tendertooks, and I've been on Fanfiction.net for a very long time. I'm finally able to access the internet, and am currently polishing all my old works. I have quite of a writer's block, although I've got a very long list I am gearing up to write. I'm quite saddened by the fact that NC17 stories are not allowed here, yet of course, I do understand that the staff would like to protect the site against constant badgerings from those ignorant do-gooders as well as the overly-sleazy writers who mock or sully the world of fanfiction. I'm currently into Harry Potter (It has been my poison for about four years) mainly because I never want to let go of the world I have dreamed of for so long. Every one of my friends has outgrown this phase, leaving me so... sad. Haha. The anime side of me has diminished somewhat from lack of material, though I occasionally drop by Weiss Kreuz. If the internet god would have it, I would be writing mature Anastasia stories and perhaps a grown up Akazukin Chacha, but the crowd of this seems so small that I've been cowed from actually starting. Pity, really. Anyone is free to message me; I'm quite eager to make fanfiction friends (slashers most especially) maybe to lodge me out of this writer's block that has been chomping at my brains inconspiciously. Or maybe because I'm soooo lonely. :) Also, I have the early visions of a website that will host numerous Harry Potter fanfiction of all slash categories and ratings, but I am too lazy and poorly equipt to realize it. Perhaps one day... unless someone is interested to help me? I've also started a few articles on ways to improve writing (me being a guilty hypocrite,) and soon I might post it up on my site. Perhaps I'll list down the web address here when the site is fully functional... Actually, I even have two livejournals, with one supposedly dedicated to slash, but it's empty, because I lack the motivation... for now. Also note that the oldest uncontinued stories featured in this account is hell coming for a visit. I've lost all of my notes regarding these fictions, and am pulling at my hair trying to remember it and laying them down once again. I'm also wondering if the people who used to like these fictions are still interested, but either way I'll still be finishing it because it bothers me that I haven't complete them yet. Also torturing me is that scrumptious new list of ideas and I'm itching to start them, though I know that it will be horrible in the long run since I shall be too spread out. I'm also afraid to start featuring them here because I'm not to sure if people will steal my ideas, or my titles, and whatnot. What shall I do! I'm very interested to beta, as well. Be warned though that I am a very awful beta (in the sense that I like criticizing good work because it will make it even better) and I cannot resist fixing wrong grammar. I don't understand how some authors refuse to be taught the proper skills, when it will make their work infinitely better. I myself would love to get criticized as long as said criticism is intelligent and fair. Plot-wise and character development- I will not leave out as well. These are important to the making of a story, and authors will be idiots if they do not listen to well-meaning opinions. I believe that the person who would like me to beta would have to have very tough skin. I try to be a beta that I myself would be pleased with.
