My name is Kat Champagne.

I've been flitting about this website for around eight (EIGHT?! EIGHT?! I'M ANCIENT.) years now. I'm friendly and always willing to chat. I'm a theater major at an American university who lives in the United Kingdom and I'm utterly clueless about life.

Stories:-

The Requiem- Currently on HIATUS. I may rewrite it. This story is my baby. Epic as hell and very thorough. Interesting and worth a look, I think.

The Muddy Street- Completed. I adore this little thing. Very fun to write and to read, for those of you who like Kankuro.

Paint Him the Color of Death- I quit. Sorry, I liked this story a lot, but inspiration just isn't coming and never will. You should read it though. My first story over ten chapters long. Quite lovely.

Mission: Transfer- I quit. Terrible and predictable. Not funny, not charming, not cute.

Speaking to a Wall- I quit. Ridiculous and pointless. Some pretty visualization, but that is all.

Snow Angel- I quit. Not very good. Interesting notions on characterizations and whatnot, but other than that it's awful.

Feminine- Completed. A cute little drabble. I'm actually a big closet fan of Larxene; I'm always attached to bitches with no remorse.

Welcome Home- A new story! Finally! Written based on some life experiences. I don't know, it is what it is. I never realized how much I love Ino.

News:-

Four days ago, it was my account's birthday. I have officially been a part of the Fanfiction family for eight years now. THIS IS BLOWING MY MIND. I'M, LIKE, ELDERLY. Craziness!!! Back then, I was obsessed with Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho, and my very first fanfiction was called 'A Jewel's Beauty'. It was pretty bad, I'll admit, but it was a great first try at writing. What can I say, I wasn't even twelve at the time. I'll still look back at it fondly. Amethyst and Kurama were my original OTP. Bizarre-o.

'Welcome Home' has continued to stay really popular, which is also blowing my mind. As of right now, I will NOT be continuing it, as I am in London and am rightfully spending as much time as possible away from the computer. When I get back States-side, there is a great possibility that I WILL continue it. I've got some ideas, but I'm waiting to see how my life pans out before I go any further.
