Author has written 13 stories for Naruto. 10/10/09 - Am having a really cool life. (No, seriously.) Still writing, just maybe not ready to update yet - mainly because for some reason my ideas aren't translating into stories that well. But I'm getting a lot of inspiration, etc. Updates hopefully soon... Reads: Harry Potter, Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin (if exceptionally good, like the Zaibatsu Project), Lord of the Rings/The Silmarillion. And original fiction on Fictionpress. Self-Realizations: While I love reviews (and reviewers) to pieces, I write fanfics for my own satisfaction. So I've just discovered that the instant I know how they end - and how they reach that point (vaguely) - my interest in them drops dramatically. So, read at your own risk. As a sidenote, the Turkey City Lexicon (or this variation found at http://fritzfreiheit.com/wiki/SF_critique_lexicon) has been very helpful to me, so if you are curious, try consulting it as well. It points out common foibles in a humorous way (even if you, like me, don't really write Scifi). Writes: Reactance is a fun experiment with crime and drama genres with - hopefully - eventual romance. Damnatio Memoriae is one of my favorite oneshots because it conveys what I want from Itachi-Comes-Home fics and is somehow finished, as a bonus. The Quintessential Kidnap Story probably should have gone under The Imperious Life, but after I uploaded it I got too lazy to make that change. The Possibility of Zero is a pseudo-oneshot, pseudo-companion piece or sequel to A Passing Scent. Which I've just noticed that I never listed. OH WELL. :) The Imperious Life is a collection of unrelated, Alternate Universe Naruto oneshots. They're basically brainstorming and plotbunnies who aren't old enough to get their own full-length story yet. Mistress of the Hounds deals with the Inuzuka moving into the Uchiha compound, to great suspension of disbelief everywhere. It has been put on HIATUS. Story of the Year is actually all planned out, but things have changed so much from the original - for the better, I think. Chapter 10 should be pretty sweet XD. Although I have yet to write it, I at least know what it'll cover. Consequence is kaput, it being that Kishimoto has answered a glaring question of mine (the one Sakura asks in the story). DISCONTINUED. Snakes and Ladders has undergone major revamping in terms of plot. Basically, it involves reincarnation and a thin underlying thread that allows me to toy with the idea of many alternate universes. As a multi-part narrative, I'm not sure the aspects that link the separate parts together are effective at all, but individually, Sakura's many lives are a great deal of fun. Begun: Second Life (modern day) and Fifth Life (futuristic gang wars and such). Card Tricks in the Dark has taken over Reflections.
