Author has written 16 stories for Biker Mice From Mars, Voyagers!, and Hogan's Heroes. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be aware that Jordre and I share this account; her information follows mine. Stories that she has written will have her BYLINE IN CAPS alongside the title on the summary page, so you can easily tell which of us wrote what. Jake: Rather than have to update my age every year, I’ll tell you I was born in 1954; you do the math. (;-D) I’ve been writing fanfiction of one sort or another since I was seven or eight years old, long before there was any such thing as a computer, never mind the Internet; sadly, most of those manuscripts are long lost, or I’d probably be rewriting the best of them for posting here. I’m a six-year veteran of the USAF (discharged in 1986). My fandoms are Hogan’s Heroes, Rat Patrol, Biker Mice from Mars, The Sentinel, and Voyagers, and I’ve written stories for all except the Sentinel, though most of them haven’t been posted yet. You won’t find the Hogan’s Heroes tale under my name, however; that was a contribution to a collaborative effort called “The Mary Sue Experiment” by G.S. Jessica. I used the name “Jake Duncan” for that one. Oh, and don’t let the name kid you. My dad wanted a boy and got me instead. My roommate Jordre and I (you’ve seen her mentioned as my beta reader, and she's included a brief profile below) live on a farm in South Carolina, where we raise sheep. I like to get reviews of all types. Well, of course I like the positive ones; I’m only human, after all, but constructive criticism is also very welcome. Some of you may find my punctuation, especially commas, a bit odd; that’s because I follow an older set of rules - see birth date above. ;-) They’re as instinctive to me as the QWERTY keyboard, and I’m not likely to change either one. Please feel free to PM or e-mail me any time, whether to comment on a story or just to say hi; I love talking to the people I’ve “met” in my various fandoms, especially since I spent my school years being treated like a pariah because most of the other kids thought I was “wierd.” The fact that fanfiction has become generally accepted is nothing short of a miracle to me.
