CURRENT STORY NEWS (Updated August 2009)

I have grown a lot in the six years that I have been writing fanfiction and I feel that much of my earlier work is no longer of the quality that I'm proud of. I have decided to go through the stories posted on this sight and either remove, or revamp, the ones I am no longer happy with. While I have always gone by the stance that I will not abandon a story, I must accept that I have simply outgrown these stories, and it is not fair to myself, my readers, or my writing to leave them unfinished. I have decided that, beyond my lack of time recently, I have too many stories going and am therefore losing interest in the stories I started when I was much younger.

If you are devastated by this news, please contact me with the story you want me to continue with, and I will consider. Thank you.

These changes will take affect January 1st, 2010.

----Stories that will be removed--

-A Spider's Bite: (YYH)On a new mission, the Rekai Tentei encounter a strange Spider's nest and, as usual, danger ensues. But could there be more in the underlying bite of a simple spider? Warning: Yaoi

Status: Although it is one of my more popular YYH stories, I have never much cared for this one. It will, most likely, be removed from the site.

-Beyond Death: (YYH) Have you ever wondered what the Yu Yu gang would do in a world wide crisis? This is my take on what would happen (based on Resident Evil events)

Status: This story will be removed from the site.

-Following Trails of Snowfall: (TRC) After the sacrifices for a broken heart, a fading life, and a shattered soul, the three remaining friends must move on with their new companion in hopes of finding a new way to live and more feathers to follow.

Status: Unfortunately, with the complex plot changes of TRC along with the disbandment of CLAMP, I have lost most of my interest in the Tsubasa fandom. This story will be removed.

-Keep Thinking Thoughts(TRC) At first, he supposed, things had points, things had meanings. But not anymore, where nothing mattered. Nothing but the pain...the pain and crimson eyes. Warning: Mass confusion and Yaoi

Status: Though I very much enjoyed writing this, as well as the plot I had in mind, I believe my focus/time would be better spent on other stories. It will most likely be removed from this site.

-Silence Calling White on Black: (YYH) A new mission has come up after seven years of perfect silence, only what is truly perfect in the world and what has already been lost to the call of silence? Yaoi

Status: This story hangs in the balance between being edited or removed. It will most likely be removed.

-Tomorrow Was Lost Yesterday: (YYH) In the middle of a war with a new enemy, and perhaps the strongest since Yakimo of the Netherworlds, the tantei have been reassigned from the battle fields to protect their newest ally and perhaps their only hope. Yaoi - no OC pairings

Status: While I had great hopes for this story, it is a lengthy one that I'm not so sure I want to write anymore. It will be removed, though I may, if I so choose at a later date, repost after severe plot reconstruction.

--Stories that will be revamped--

-Separate Souls: (YYH) In a new mission, Shuichi and Youko are separated for seven days. After seven days, Koenma's spell ends. Only things become more complicated when Shuichi disappears. Warning: yaoi

Status: This story hangs in the balance between being finished, untouched, or edited. I have yet to make my decision. However, I want this story to be finished, it might just take some time.

-The Game of Death: (YYH) The game of death begins with a single scream, a single knife. Those who are tagged do not become “it” as with the childish ningen game. Those who are tagged will be lost to life forever. Those who are tagged must die.

Status: This story has enough of a fun, twisting plot line that I will finish it. However, it is from a time of less mature (translation: out of character) writing that I must edit it before I can deem it worthy of my time once more.

-The Last One Left: (YYH) I have learned the horrible truth of life before the Great War. No record of these following deaths has ever been mentioned in any book of the Dead. And so, what you read now you must never forget. This is the beginning of the tale that tells the end.

Status: I still have a lot of pride in the plot of this story, though I believe it is poorly written and in need of serious reconstruction. This story will be taken down and replaced once it has been edited. With my plans for it, it will practically be a new story, so if you liked the first one, please watch for it's new version.

--Stories that will be finished w/out change--

-Cold Rescue: (YYH) Kurama is mysteriously kidnapped by a new demon, one who wants something the Tentei stole. Now, lost in the frozen lands of the koorimes, someone will have to help him before he freezes to death. Warning: yaoi

Status: Though this story was initially a way to pass writer's block, it has grown on me. I will be finishing it with minimal editing to previous chapters.

-Content: (YYH) Content: to be satisfied with what one has. It's nothing more than a softened word for those who are 'happy' because they don't know anything better. I used to be just like them. I used to be content. And I used to be happy about. Yaoi

Status: This will be finished without editing to previous chapters.

-Good Night, White Knight: (CSI) Since he was a child, he’d imagined being rescued by a White Knight in shining armor. Since elementary school, he had been trying to be that White Knight – a hero that saved those in danger. Since then, he'd just been kidding himself. Dark/Slash

Status: This will be finished without editing to previous chapters.

-Keeping Quiet: (YYH) A new mission's come up but this time they didn't get a choice in the matter. Thrown into the war between wizards and humans, the gang must find a way to survive in a world where demons are slaves killed without question. HPYYH Yaoi.

Status: This story will be finished without editing to previous chapters. I don't care if it takes me years, I will finish it.

-Memories of the Lost: (YYH) When the tentei recover a precious and dangerous amulet, will the previous owner come back for it? And why can Koenma never tell the detectives about the bad guy's abilities before a mission? Warning: Yaoi

Status: Although this story falls in the era of those I would prefer to edit, it is so very close to being done that I will not. It is of the same age as Embrace the Winter Snow, and therefore deserves a similar, untouched ending.

-These Nights: (YYH) To dance...since that night, I have longed for the luxury, but will not risk it. No, since I danced with you, Hiei, I lost everything. But I can't regret it...it was all that I wanted. It doesn't matter that I died because of it. Yaoi

Status: I believe my Beta would murder me if I did anything but finish this story. It will be continued and finished after some plot reconstruction, but no previous chapters will be changed.

--Stories in the Works--

-GAMBIT: (YYH) AU: We are GAMBIT; the Global Alliance of Mercenary-Based Intelligence Tactics. In other words: We kill people. This new target is some asshole mob leader who calls himself Jaganshi. And we're going to kill him. Yaoi

Progress: Now seriously considering this one mostly due to threats from friends.

-So Far Away From Being Posted it Doesn't Even Have a Name Yet: (YYH) They had known all along this was forbidden. One had always been hesitant - the other almost reckless. They had known what could happen and now they had to face the consequences of the seeds they had sowed. (Koenma/Yusuke (side pairings of dark H/K)

Progress: A fantasy of Animazement and egged on by Ryukotsusei. It's gonna be a while.

-The Woman in the Wall: (KKM) He shouldn't have said anything. He should have kept his mouth shut. But he was king, something they constantly reminded him of, and he was angry, something that usually made his tongue looser than normal. But he shouldn't have said anything, because now Wolfram isn't the same. (Wolfyuu)

Progress: Outlined (will not be written until Yu Yu Hakusho stories are caught up)

-The Word of A King: (KKM) It takes sacrifices to maintain Peace. Just as war demands sacrifices, so does peace - morbidly so. But how much is Yuuri willing to give up to keep his so-called peace, and what will it cost the man who loves him? (Wolfyuu, Cozak)

Progress: Outlined with a prologue and first chapter complete (will not be posted until Yu Yu Hakusho stories are caught up)

-In the Shadow of the Gods: (KKM) Soushu is anger, sadness, envy. He can enter other’s hearts, where such emotions lay. That is what the Great Sage said. And he wasn't wrong, because Shoushu lies within my heart, taking over me, even as we speak. Yaoi

Requests and Updates

Alright, so anyone who's gotten to this profile has probably figured out by now...I'm horrible at updating. I'm a very busy girl who stretches herself way to thin with too many projects and too many people to please. But I do try to get it all done (though I'm definitely not learning my lesson, here). I'm also in College now, which gives very limited time for writing (Damn you, education, damn you!). However, please note that I WILL NOT abandon a story. Just because it hasn't been updated in more than two years (oh god, don't remind me...) doesn't mean I won't get to it eventually.

So, as for Updates - they're sporadic and I apologize for this, but it's not going to change.

As for Requests - go ahead and make them, whether it's for a work in progress up there that you like, an actual plot you want to describe to me, or a death threat to update a current story. PM or e-mail me (just put it in the subject line so I don't delete it, please) and I'll see what I can do.

However, also keep in mind that while I'm open to all requests, it doesn't necessarily mean I'll get them done.
