Author has written 6 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. Writing Updates: Latest writing posted: Unexplainable, a Dramione one-shot. Some short stuff in the works, mainly of the Harry Potter genre. Probably won't see the light of day for quite some time though, if ever. Will consider requests, if given. Pertaining to AOLG: I know that Fiondra is not an Elvish name. I am well aware of that. I knew that when I started this story. By the time I found an Elvish name with a meaning that I liked, I was too attached to 'Fiondra'. My interpretation of Fiondra was Clearbrook. Again, it is not real Elvish. Eventually, I might go back and change all my non-Elvish names. Therefore, if you cannot handle the slight error, don't read AOLG. I do not need any more reviews telling me that I'm wrong and I suck. Deal with it. Honestly. Also, I didn't write this story because I "lust after Legolas" as I have been accused of. Legolas is a complex character, and this story was just my attempt to delve under the surface a bit. Writing Preferences: Favorite LOTR Fanfics: Legolas/OC, Merry/Estella, Pippin/Diamond, Eomer/Lothliriel, Faramir/Eowyn, Aragorn/Arwen, etc. (basically the traditionals) Favorite HP Fanfics: Hermione/Draco, Hermione/Snape, Harry/Ginny, Tonks/Lupin, etc. I like angsty fics as well as the mushy, sweet ones. Smut is fun too! I tend to write in either of those ways too. So if you don't like fluff, you probably shouldn't read AOLG. About Me: Currently in college working on a B.A. in English and History. I plan to go into editing/publishing, and write fiction too. I do not have much time to write fanfiction or real fiction at this point in time, but I still take the occasional time to read the works of others. I'm a huge fan of fantasy and historical fiction. I am basically a bookworm and will read whatever you set in front of me. Some of my favorite authors include J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, Mercedes Lackey, Jane Austen, Ann Rinaldi, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Sharon Shinn, Nora Roberts, and Juliet Marillier. I also enjoy the classics: Edgar Allan Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Emily Dickinson, Shakespeare, so on and etc. Some of my favorite movies include LOTR, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pride & Prejudice, National Treasure, Gone With the Wind, The Princess Bride, Moulin Rouge, Stardust, Troy, Elizabethtown, Somewhere in Time, Fitzwilly, Chocolat, Casanova, 10 Things I Hate About You, Disney movies, etc. My favorite characters are Legolas, Merry, and Pippin from LOTR. Yes, I also like Orlando Bloom, but that is not why I appreciate Legolas so much. Legolas existed long before OB ever did. My favorite Harry Potter characters are Hermione, Draco Malfoy, Snape, Hagrid, the Weasley twins, and Neville. Please read and review. I'm always looking for constructive criticism. I'm also known as bookwyrmqueen in some circles. My livejournal name is merrymagic26. Have a great day and happy reading! Rowling, HP:OOTP Pippin: What's that? Legolas: Shall I describe it to you? Or would you like me to get you a box? Merry and Pippin: Oh you can search far and wide, you can drink the whole town dry, but you'll never find a beer so brown as the one we drink in our home town, you can keep your fancy ales, you can drink them by the flagon, but the only brew for the brave and true, comes from the Green Dragon! Bilbo: I know less than half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve. ~merrymagic | |||||||||
