I'm immersed in scifi, fantasy, anime, and video games. I'm studying biology, working on my writing on the side, and generally just enjoying life. I enjoy reviews, because they tell me people are actually reading my work, but I promise, I will NEVER withhold chapters simply because I'm not getting enough reviews.

8/22/2009 - Ok, geez, I have been way too busy, to have not updated here. Anyways, I've had a lot of ups and downs in my life, but things are finally steadying out. I've got a pretty stable job working in a bakery, get regular sun and exercise for my health, and am slowly working on my writing projects. I've realized that half the reason I'm having trouble writing nowdays though is that I lack a reliable beta, as I.E.T.S., through no fault of her own mind you, hasn't been able to help me much this summer. So I'm going to try a new tactic. I may soon set up a multipurpose forum on my account. It will have three uses. One, will be sections for my readers to discuss my stories amongst themselves. Two, will be sections for story recommendations. The first post there will explain the details. Three is a writing section. I will use that section to test scenes and chapters, and get opinions on ideas I am mulling around. I have several ideas of what to do with the myriad of fic ideas I don't have time to even begin writing, including both challenges and presenting samples so readers can see what's coming out of my mind that hasn't come to fruition yet. So please check back soon. I'll post a new update here if I make the forums a reality.

2/12/2009 - Ok, current project status. KFK and DFR both have chapters under construction. The first segment of Phoenix Rising's latest story arc is awaiting initial beta, and notes are being plotted out for Legacy of the Planet's latest chapter. I am still looking for betas (see announcement on 2/2/2009).

2/5/2009 - I would just like to inform all of my readers that Phoenix Rising is currently being taken out of my cycle. No, I am not stopping the story, putting it on hiatus, or anything else of that nature. I am in fact finally at a very major point in the story, and I have decided to write the entire Invasion Arc, tighten and clean it up, and be absolutely happy that it is the way I have envisioned it since the start of the story before posting. I will be working on the chapters in parallel with the rest of my stories, and will be putting a lot of dedication into it. I repeat, Phoenix Rising is NOT dead and is NOT on hiatus, it is simply requiring a lot more dedicated work on the next set of chapters rather than them being posted one at a time as finished. This is to ensure that you, my readers, receive the best product possible for what is going to be one big batch of what will hopefully be legendary fights.

2/2/2009 - I am currently looking for another beta or two for my stories. Anyone who would like to apply for the position should have good grammar and a good understanding of Naruto canon itself, if not the canons of the other worlds crossed with some of myfics, and should also have their own work to present to me as a sample. This can either be stories already published or a sample of original writing that shows your capacity. Betas' duties will included grammar and spelling repair, being available at times to discuss ideas with me while I am working on chapters, as well as being willing to leave comments and shoot me ideas on ways they think i can improve my chapters, including but not limited to recommending alternate lines of dialogue outright suggesting scenes.They will also be fully credited at the end of every chapter upon which they have worked. All applicants should apply via PM, and if they meet my standards should be ready and willing to beta the next completed chapter of my stories as a test to determine if I like how I work with them.

2/2/2009 - I am hoping to soon be able to put up a segment on my profile linking to fanfic pictures of characters from my stories. My primary beta, I.E.T.S., is already working and planning on doing a number of character sketches and colored scenes from my stories, notably from Konoha's Golden Viper. If you decide to draw fanart of my stories, simply credit it as being from my stories and pass me a link so that I can see and so I can link my readers to it as well.

Themes for My Stories

Below is the periodically updated list of all the music I use as themes or inspiration while working on my stories. I will continue to update it as I decide on tracks as properly fitting scenes. For now, consider this the authoritative list of what tracks I consider the opening and opening themes for my stories.

Since this is the first time that I am revealing the titles of Parts 2 and 3 of "The Phoenix", allow me to explain a little something. Part 2: Phoenix Down will be comprised of a series of sub stories. They will be stand alone, or have connections to one another, but the second Part is by and large merely a collection of individual stories over a period of time. It may in fact contain some stories from the history of Konohagakure and Nagareboshigakure, including Orochimaru's Capture of Team Turtle (only really hinted at so far, but more details will shortly become apparent) and Sarutobi Hiruzen's first encounter with Kabatsu Cora. The title attached next to Phoenix Down currently is the title of the first story, which will revolve around the fairly underused Team 11 under Hayate Gekkou and a dangerous mission with life-altering results for the young genin.

Also, you may notice the presence of a story titled "Desert Fox" on this list. That is in fact the prequel to Desert Fox Redux, and while it will not be written until after Redux is completed, it is being plotted and planned out. I felt I'd give you a little preview by showing you the music that will be its opening and ending. Also, there is a clear opening sequence in my head imagined for Legacy of the Planet, which I may attempt to put down in words parallel to the lyrics at some point.
