Curse of the Dragon It's a fic I've been meaning to write for a long time now. I've taken the characters and placed them into an AU fantasy world, inspired by the Breath of Fire series. I've always adored character and relationship development, and I hope to showcase that with this story. So far, my inspiration has yet to dwindle, and I've been writing consistently for the last couple of months. Here's hoping my streak continues. Summary: In a world with no horses, but pegasuses, a world with no yellow sunflowers, but sunflowers that twinkle shine like stars, a world where fairies don't exist, but ladybugs do, Ahiru is a noble with an arranged marriage to Prince Siegfried. Everything she knows (and wants) is changed, however, when she is kidnapped by the Dragon Clan and drawn into a tale of curses, war, destiny, and love. As seemingly disconnected stories collide--of a Prince who sinks into darkness, of a war that brews between two countries, of a wondrous and mystical village hidden away for three centuries, of a mysterious man torn between accepting fate for the sake of freedom and defying it for the sake of love, and of a young girl deeply ensnared in the middle of them all--will the ending of the story be one of happiness? Of glory? Or perhaps... Still in the works, but I expect it to be a success! Summary: All of Kinkan Town is mourning when the news comes around; their beloved Prince Siegfried is slowly dying. Before he goes, he wants to tie up loose ends and do the things that he's always wanted to do. He finds this difficult, however, when his Princess Rue, Ahiru, Fakir, and his subjects are fussing over him and worrying over every little thing he does.
