Updates:

11/7/08 Currently editing various originals but I have several ideas for fanfics lined up. I just haven't gotten around to writing them yet. Perhaps this weekend... ;;

Bio:

Hmm... Where shall I start?... Humm...

Well the name's Kaylin. I'm 20 and in college. I have various interests, anime, reading and writing being among those along with too many others to really name but just the usual I suppose. I'm a slightly OCD perfectionist of a packrat who can never sit still for very long (unless I really really really have to) and I've been told that I'm rather creative. I've also been told that I strive on chaos =P I suppose I do, I'm rather good at thinking on my feet. I have my quirks as does everyone such as hating sticky hands hence why I tend to wash them pretty often during the course of the day. I'm also quite nocturnal and can often be bribed with sweets. I love sunny days but I love cool/cold air, that tends to conflict more often than you would think. I love fantasy and fiction, adventure and romance but none of that uberly sappy stuff mind you. Those in small moderations are tolerable. Give me magic and faeries and knights anyday. Vampires and secret clans and shinobi are great too. - Anymore you wanna know about me? Well you'll have to ask me yourself! =P

Currently reading/just finished:

Twilight and New Moon by: Stephanie Meyer

I probably would have never gotten around to reading these but my dad got them for me for my birthday. Well more like he offered to buy me some books but I had already bought all the ones I really wanted a week before his visit which left these. ;;

But all in all, pretty good books. I was disappointed and surprised that I didn't fully sink into them like I usually do. They're totally my type of books too but for some reason they didn't capture my full attention like Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' books do or even the Harry Potter series. Usually I end so immersed into books that I tend to zone out my surroundings. In 4th grade i managed to not hear my teacher calling me several times untill my friend came over and shook me haha Anyway, back on topic. Perhaps it's just me? I hear alot of great reviews about this series and I do want to finish reading it. Mostly to find out the rest of the plot since the plotline was really interesting and also because of my OCD tendencies. I just have to finish something once I start it. ;

Othello, Don Quixote, Inferno

All for a class of course. Sorry to say despite these being classics, I can't read them for fun. Plotlines' are interesting of course but I guess the language kills it for me. I mean I love those stories set in medieval or ancient times with lords and ladies and so on but too much analyzing is needed to read these. Totally not suited for entertainment for me. Although interesting when I have time and will power to dissect it further then I would normally when reading.

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by: Jonathan Safran Foer

Awesome book. Again read for class. But I totally enjoyed this one. About an extremely intelligent and witty nine-year-old boy dealing with life after his father's death with various slices into his grandparents lives. There's alot of interesting issues and questions brought up in the book. Like what happens when we run out of places to bury people? Or what love really is and so on. Extremely funny at parts but also really moving at others. I totally recommend it. =

Music:

Yelle French singer. Rather interesting songs.

Big Bang Korean hip hop group. Love their songs and totally love them. - They just came out with a new album. It's in English too. I'm so proud of them. They're English is pretty accurate for people who don't speak a word of it haha
