My name is Emily but I have so many nicknames that you can just call me SiriusAllPunked! I love this place. I'm a writer at heart and have been a member of this site for...well, years! Currently, I am a sophomore a Polk State College (Go Eagles!) in a small town in the beautiful, sunny Florida. I am currently getting my Associates in Liberal Arts, and then hope to transfer to a University next year for social work, in hopes of becoming a therapist and working with adolescent substance addiction. I am ALWAYS changing my mind as to what I want to do (it went from Naval officer, to World Relations, Video game production, journalist), but I believe I'm sticking with this one. . In my downtime, I write and write and write. I enjoy foreign languages (Russian, Japanese, Arabic, German and Latvian), and have a deep interest in Holocaust literature and World War II history. Jumping forward, I really enjoy the sixties and seventies (great music, beautiful cars) My favorite (professional) writers include: The beloved J.K. Rowling, Nicholas Sparks, Gaston Leroux, James Patterson and Sara Dresden. I enjoy the dramatic genre. Hate, anger, fear, death, tried love, unrequited love, star-crossed lovers...the whole shabang. Life is full of drama and trauma-why not write about it? In Little Women, self-proclaimed writer Jo is told, "Write what you know." And that's what I live by. While I may not have been to the Digital World or can claim that I've been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I CAN tell you I know how it feels to be ditched by your friends, have your heartbroken, feel unwanted or unaccepted, to delve into the exotic world of drugs and sex. I'm sure you've all felt the same way. That's what fanfiction is about, taking our own spins of stories that we love; showing characters the way WE see them.
