Author has written 10 stories for D N Angel.

Facebook: S.M. Torres (Should you want to be my friend, that's cool. Just mention something in your friend request like "Hi Schizo!" or something ff.net-related that way I don't automatically freak out about how you know me.)

deviantART: ~xeeshticka (just kind of... exists)

fictionpress: ~Marry My Pie Please (few poems, one story--which is actually doing good, weird)

Blog: http://xeeshticka.tumblr.com/(I won't abandon this, I promise)

I made a profile.

I don't know why people have PM'ed and complained about me not having a profile, but I've made a profile. I guess people want to know me or something. Personally, I find myself boring, but some people call me "odd." Anyways, I've been thinking and thinking and this is how the wonderful profile will look and most likely be.

Er... Enjoy?

Useless facts:

A1 - I segregate my M&Ms into colors and eat them in this order: Brown first, orange, yellow, red, blue, and green last. This doesn't mean I'm a racist or a communist, which doesn't make sense, but my friends would tease me otherwise. I actually have no idea why I do this.

B2 - I am incredibly indecisive.

C3 - I love giraffes and have even pet some. It was probably one of the happiest days of my life, which on most people's scales would probably be kind of... sad.

D4 - I hate the number 9. Don't ask. I just do.

E5 - I have an uncanny habit of making lists (hence the one I'm making now). They range in all sorts of topics, from Places to Go to Childhood TV Shows (108 listed) to the humorous Lists of Lists.

F6 - Sometimes I hear this spinning sound, but I never know where it comes from. It kind of freaks me out and makes me wonder if I did something to my head to cause this.

G7 - I write in cursive, not so much in print.

H8 - When I was little, my sole dream was to become a fish and live in the Atlantic Ocean. Specifically, I wanted to be a flounder fish because I thought they looked cool. However, as years grew on, I realized this would become virtually impossible for me to do, so I changed the "fish" to "author" and the "ocean" to the "city" because I think writing is cool, especially when a school of people are reading it.

I9 - I love sticking my fingers in between my toes. My father hates it when I do this, but I just love the feeling too much.

J10 - I'm procrastinating at something right now.

K11 - I read quite a bit of Spanish literature and am delving into trying to learn more Japanese to one day read Japanese literature, especially erotic psycho-murder stories.

L12 - I love industrial music, but you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at me.

M13 - When visiting my mother's family in Peru, I often get the chance to hug llamas. They live in Lima, but we go up the mountains most of the time I'm there. I love my Peruvian heritage. My father is Costa Rican, but I have yet to visit his home country.

N14 - I love learning history. My favorite periods are (beware, as this is long): Edo Period, Meiji Period, Tokugawa Shogunate Period, Victorian Era, Edwardian Era, Napoleonic Era (French Revolution), Roaring Twenties, Qing dynasty, both the first and second Industrial Revolution, World War II, Cold War, 1960s (in which its bipolarity of strict Conservatism and free Libertarianism collided), the Russian Revolution of 1917, Alexander Hamilton's life (which was idiotically short), Albert Einstein's life, and anything and everything about the Hippie Counterculture.

O15 - I love reading biographies, psychology books, erotica, murder stories, history books, social analysis of time periods and/or countercultures, anything by Jaclyn Moriarty, books featuring the comedic idiosyncratic lifestyles of average day people, How-to books, guides to anything (even if I never need the guide), books on Etiquette, dictionaries, and old children's books about whimsical creatures (usually from 1870-1890).

P16 - I like to oil paint.

Q17 - Despite insisting that women become independently active in their lives, whether pursuing business or some equally dominant career, I wouldn't mind becoming a housewife, and on some days, hope to. I want to be an author, and thus plan on working at home when I am successful enough to live solely on that career, so... being a housewife would be a natural thing and a more convenient option for my husband as it would be a tad cruel to make him work and then expect him to come home and cook, clean, and please me in bed (I'm horrible, I know...XD) when all I would be doing is sitting on my bum, writing.

R18 - In my bedroom, I have one red wall ("Licorice Red" says the paint can) while the rest are white. My door was previously Frivolous Blue, which is more of a turquoise color and the name angers me as I do not believe blue should be considered "frivolous," but my mother bought new doors. So now, I have a white door with rectangles on it surrounded by a blue frame.

S19 - I color-coordinate my clothes in my closet in a rainbow-like fashion.

T20 - I collect glass bottles, glass jars, decorative pins, postcards, magazine images that take my fancy, newspaper clippings, boxes, things I find on the street, spiral notebooks, garters, international money (bills and coins), and decorative cups (polka dotted, souvenirs, oddly shaped, &ct &ct).

U21 - Before reading a book, I place Post-It notes to mark each chapter. And if the book has chapters that run into each other (as in, the chapter does not begin on the next page), I place a Post-It note for every chapter that begins on the first line of a page.

V22 - With anything that is wrapped, I must completely unwrap it as neatly as possible. I absolutely can't stand things ripping unless its purpose is to rip (i.e. rip-able dotted lines). This pertains most especially to candy wrappers, pads, and presents.

W23 - I like to write the word "floss" on paper because it has my four favorite letters to write in cursive: f, s, o, and l

X24 - Sadly, one of the easiest ways to have me attracted to a person is by simply knowing proper grammar. Speak grammar to me, baby, and I'm all yours.

Y25 - My six favorite names for boys are: Milo, Oliver, Eli, Jeremy, Perry, and Winfrey. My six favorite girl names are: Genevieve, Gweneth, Emily, Regina, Audrey, and Penelope.

Z26 - Despite my erotic writing and interest in "sinful" things, I will always promote having a relationship with God. I don't care if you're religious or if you go Christian or Jewish or Muslim or Buddhist or whatever. I would advise people to just have some sort of relationship with God, be it whatever image you have of Him. And it is not to have you go to Heaven or "save yourself" or whatever crap people tell you. It is for the simple fact that by having a relationship with God (and a good one), there is a sense of security from letting a vice go too far, or believing a situation won't ever get better, or wondering who is there to help you. It is a mental security in knowing that there is a genuine positive in the world. Nothing more. Everything else about God is simply opinion.

More Useless Facts Split Into Categories:

Signature Name: S.M. Torres (but people call me "Schizo" here)

Age: 18. I'm legal now, which makes me a whole new level of sexy.

Birthday: March 5. It conveniently lands on the same day the Boston Massacre occurred, which pivoted the American Revolution. It's also the day Joseph Stalin died. Yay.

Place of Residence: Sunrise, Florida. Where life is just so exciting.

Gender: Female.

Favorite Films: The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko, Lost and Delirious, Millions, Everything is Illuminated, Inventing the Abbotts, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Mystery Men

Fanciful Novels: Feeling Sorry for Celia, The Year of the Secret Assignments, The Murder of Bindy Mackenzie, Not As Crazy As I Seem, Einstein's Dreams, The Unthinkable Thoughts of Jacob Green, Stupid and Contagious, Running with Scissors, Possible Side Effects, Magical Thinking, Dry, Coffee and Kung Fu, The Sociopath Next Door, Whispers: The Voices of Paranoia, Party of One: The Loners' Manifesto, Lolita, Almost Like Being in Love, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Squee, Luna, Vamped, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest; Girl, 15, Charming but Insane; Checkpoint, The Book of Disquiet, Citizen Girl, Elliot's Banana, The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There, all the Peter Rabbit books, The Series of Unfortunate Events, Swell: A Girl's Guide to Living the Good Life, Nineteen Eighty-Four, A Clockwork Orange

Shows I Normally Watch Alone: Jon and Kate Plus Eight (my guilty pleasure), any documentary really, No Reservations: Anthony Bourdain, Bizarre Foods, Project Runway, America's Best Dance Crew (amazing how the human body can move!), Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, Still Standing (makes me chuckle at the horrible humor of sitcom shows), those "I Love (insert decade)" on Vh1 (due to my love for history and counterculture), Kathy Griffin: Life on the D-List, Al Diablo de los Guapos, and Japanese gameshows, CSI: NY, CSI: Las Vegas, Top Chef

Things I Do When I'm Bored: Make lists, take quizzes (both online and from books), read How-to articles and/or guides, play The Dictionary Game (in which I ask myself a question, close my eyes, flip to a page in the dictionary, randomly pick a word, read the definition of the word, and somehow manipulate its meaning into an answer to my question), waste my life away by lying on my bed, sing about my actions, play the Google Image Labeler game, pick up the phone and count the seconds of how long the dial tone lasts until the Robotic Telephone Lady starts speaking (the average is 17.2 seconds), go on Blog Adventures, browse items on Etsy knowing I'm not going to buy anything, poke my teeth, chew on the inner part of my lip until it gets swollen and continue when it does, (when in a car) watch people in other cars, dial up numbers I find in bathroom stalls (and if they answer, I say, "Seven days."), cut paper, fold paper, rip napkins (because it is not a wrapper, I don't mind ripping them), play Hearts on my computer (and curse profusely at my imaginary card-playing friends), clean my room, organize my computer documents into their proper folders, stare at my parents until they grow uncomfortable, wash my hands (when I don't have to), take surveys, read confessions of sinful acts, look up cheesy pick-up lines on the Internet, &ct &ct

Pet Peeves: When children disrupt the peace in stores, accidentally ripping a wrapper, hearing people end words with "o" and joke/say it's Spanish, people snoring, water dripping, anything that follows a rhythmic pattern, the number nine, writing cursive "r"s (which SUCKS because my last name has two "r"s!), listening to phones ringing, and having the air conditioner be on 78-degrees Fahrenheit when I prefer 76

Absolute Fears: Having people know how I think, spiders, snakes, heights (it's sickening), becoming a failure

What Makes Me Giddy: Writing, drinking milk, finding pennies on the ground, getting reviews that tell me I'm a good author, the number four, getting free stuff, drinking coffee, saying the word "fetuses" to my friend Sarah, poking my friend Sarah four times (For the first three times, she makes an "eep" sound, but on the last one, she makes a "mmfjrhf" sound as if a doll that malfunctioned on me), watching my friend Melanie laugh, fantasizing with Sarah about us becoming pseudo-children of Trent Reznor in which we live ridiculously insane lives and have him love us like the twisted father he would become (it sounds creepy, but it's a "fantasy" for a reason, folks), saying the word "jazzed," most gay people, eating strawberry ice cream, writing on index cards, most Asian people, Orbit's "Sweet mint" flavored gum, French Toast, trees, my iPOD (Isaac), my laptop (Muffles), my new laptop (Quigley), and my friends and family

There. The profile is done and now you all can have a glimpse of who I am as a person.

Now go off and change the world into a better place! Go! Go!
