I am a member of Deviantart (Deviant Identity is 'Endermon'), Of The Middle Ground forums (www(dot)MGcomics(dot)com; Identity is that of "Des Shinta") and several smaller forums with interesting items.

When Reading Fanfiction I generally like crossovers, Time travel and Alternate Universe fics where a lot of things are done differently from the start.
I like authors who deal with things that the creator's never really realize about a character or plot until they've already wrecked a plotline. I despise the canon directions taken by Masashi Kishimoto and JK rowling, for their most recent works in their title series contradicts much of what was stated earlier in their series (Admitedly, Kishimoto has been attempting to remedy this as of late, but has yet to deal with the core nature of 'why is Naruto weaker than many characters', usually this is rationalized in fanon through the epiphany of a string of horrible teachers--Including but not limited to Iruka, Kakashi and Jiraiya). I come to this site to enjoy myself, to escape much of what is a dull life, and most of the stories I rate highly enough to be added to my favorites page meets the criteria of interesting, original paths, correct grammer, realism in context, plausibility, and how well the author pulls off character interaction and relationships both based on how real people act and the original bases of said characters; amongst an assortment of other rationales. I'm picky with what I read, because a good story is hard to come by when everything these days has been done before.

Think of me as the "House" of Fanfic readers. I pick my favorites because they interest me the most, and meet my qualifications.

Naruto:
1--In the aftermath of an assault unintentionally started by Sakura, A cold and ruthless Naruto, replaces the former personality of the blonde. Vowing to never allow himself to be hurt like that again, The Jinchuriki enters a new, harsh training regimen. And meanwhile, Sakura seeks Redemption for what she caused, becoming a better person and Kunoichi because of it. Should begin a year before the genin exam, eventual NaruSaku.

2--Long before the Hidden villages were formed and Demons freely roamed the planet, Earth as a whole was more advanced, and faced an enemy of intergalactic proportions. Now, the Radam are returning. In the middle of a C-turned B-rank mission, Naruto and Sakura are left to fall into a chasm, containing a long-unused tekkaman transformation plant. After emerging as new Tekkamen, the two begin on a long battle to unite the countries against the coming intergalactic foe, while coming to terms with the betrayal that left them to fall to their deaths in the first place. Digimon:

Can a love Transcend time? After a battle that leaves most of the Tamers Dead, Takato unwittingly uses the Digital Hazard, sending the minds of him and Rika separately to the past. Will they realize the other is there, while reliving their early days with their Digimon? Rukato, Time-travel.

S-cry-ed:

We don't know much about the past when concerning Kazuma "The Shell Bullet" Torisuna. Who COULD he have been? What other identities could he have possessed before taking that name? Harry Potter, abandoned in the lost ground to die? Shinji Ikari, alone after his sensei was killed by an alter user? Or other, unamed people popular in crossovers? An open-ended S-cry-ed cross, for those who want to take a challenge.

Evangelion:

Inspired by a oneshot years old, how would things change when a confident Shinji Ikari Arrives in Tokyo-3 with a Digitally-spawned being with him? Adopters choice on the partner. Digimon/Evangelion Crossover.

Yu-gi-oh GX:

1--Yugi unwittingly gave a second card to Jaden (stuck to the back of Winged Kuriboh) when they ran into each other before the academy entrance exams. How would things change if the Elemental Hero user also 'temporarily' possessed a god card?

On a personal note, there was this story I absolutely loved and forgot to fav and Author Alert it, and cannot find again. It was a Naruto story where said blond got stuck in a time loop due to the Kyuubi, one which reset him to being six-ish from just about past academy graduation; and No, it was not "Chuunin Exam Day". I think the Author was going towards a Naru-Anko pairing with it... If you know which fic I'm referring to, please be a nice person and send me a link.
It's driving me mad, for I keep replaying scenes from it in my head; Such as the author having Naruto Learn medical jutsu to remove Kakashi's Sharingan in order to copy techniques in one loop. If the author has deleted it, or if like many stories as of late has not shown up on the general story lists or on the search engines, I just need to know. I last saw it around April, possibly march, but no later than May of 2008; unless it has been updated. Thanks in advance if you come across it.
