My name's Padraig. I'm twenty-three, planning to go back to college next year and go into teaching afterward.

Been writing since early school days, mostly fantasy, some sci-fi, and a few weird little haiku now and again

Big fan of sci-fi, my favorite shows include pre-Season 9 Stargate SG-1, Dark Angel, Stargate: Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica, and the 4400. I also love House, Boston Legal, and the odd crime show.

I'd love to write some crime-based stories, not necessarily fanfiction, but original. Unfortunately things like that tend to come with a necessity for knowledge of forensics, etc...

I've been studying Tarot cards for about five years or so, doing readings on and off, occasionally setting up shop in a goth club on Saturday nights doing readings for friends and the friendly drunk. Good fun, surprisingly good practice, as the blaring music and everything else tend to prohibit over-thinking, and I allow myself to be far more instinctual about it, as opposed to trying to recall memories of a bunch of old formulas. I've also been reading about Shamanism for some time, which is something I'd like to approach from a Celtic perspective, but I've never really committed to it. One fun little project I've been toying with is a Harry Potter Tarot deck. Nothing that would ever actually get made, but a fun idea.

Current projects include

--Bullseye: Black Ops-- Set in the Marvel Movieverse, this darkly comic (or maybe just plain dark) story joins the man who can use virtually anything as a deadly weapon as he languishes in an officially non-existent prison hospital following his vicious punishment at the hands of a vengeful Daredevil. Nearly every bone in his body is broken. His chances of recovery are slim, and his odds of ever being free again are barely worth considering - until he finally meets his mysterious gaoler, and is offered the chance to return to the killing fields, better than ever before. Bullseye's new employment will bring him face to face with many of the heroes and villians of the Marvel Movieverse, including Daredevil, the X-men, Spider-man, Nick Fury, and the Punisher, as well as a few new faces.
