Updates: September 9, 2006 - Chapter two is almost done for 'Becoming Us' and chapter five for "Sea of Tears" was partially lost (damn computer shakes fist) but I'll try to post it after I retype it...hopefully this month. _;; Sorry for the long delay everyone, I promise to update soon.

Sea of Tears

A/N: this fic is being written between the hours of 11pm and 4am only (it is when I get my dark inspiration). The whole while, the songs My December by LP and My Skin by Natalie Merchant are looped in the background. They are Naruto AMV's from animemusicvideosdotorg. My Skin is the video that inspired me to start this fic with the pictures of a very sad Iruka that go to the verse:

"Contempt loves the silence
It thrives in the dark
With fine winding tendrils
That strangle the heart"

It is also a kakairu fic. It will not have yaoi. I don't write scenes like that. I may imply, but no detail (ok, maybe a little...if you ask nicely). Sorry all you perverts out there. I may be one of you, but I can't write for us. gomenasai. (lol)
