I’ve been here for a while.
I’ve been reading fan fiction at this site for a long time, but I didn’t start writing fan fiction until…oh…2002, perhaps? I don’t know. I never was good with measuring time. Anyway, when I first began, I wrote stories solely for the Sly Cooper fandom. One was called Cops and Robbers, the other was called All’s Fair, and I had another called…To Catch a Thief? Something like that.
I deleted all those stories and left the site for more than a year, due to a growing dissatisfaction with my writing. I’m back, now, I guess. Many people have told me I have a natural talent for writing, and it would be a shame to waste that talent simply because I’m my own worst critic. Looking back, I regret deleting Cops and Robbers and All’s Fair. They weren’t perfect (Not by a long shot…) but they contained beloved characters and many people actually seemed to like them.
I’m sorry, but those stories are gone. Forever. So you guys can stop PMing me about it now.
On a brighter note, I do plan to stick around and tough it out until I reach my full potential. I returned to the Sly Cooper fandom, and I have a few ideas for some new stories. Who knows, maybe I’ll even break ground on a fresh (Better) version of All’s Fair.
I also write for The Legion of Super-Heroes! If anyone feels like reading the story I have for the fandom, it’s much better than the Sly Cooper story, in my humble opinion. More, um, epic?
