Author has written 12 stories for Harry Potter, and Sherlock Holmes. Never was there so much satisfaction taken in clicking the "Delete Story" button. I'm happy to say that most of the tripe on this page has been deleted. The remaining tripe is tripe that I'm a bit too attached to, to delete. Currently working on Yours and Yours and Yours and Perdition (in the hopes of making the subsequent chapters less tripe-y). And Miles to Go Before I Sleep has been left as a one-shot, as has been Learning to Breathe.
I discovered that I find it very difficult to write from Hermione's perspective. I think she's my favorite character--I only ever read stories that feature her in conjunction with either Draco or Snape--but I find the Hermione in stories, whether mine or others', rather insufferable at the same time. Maybe because I write her the way I would write myself. Which is why she features less in my stories rather less than Snape.
This profile was formerly "Meriadoc / Celithrathien"'s. I changed my name because I got sick of a username that was the result of a quick online "What is your elvish name?" quiz. Wallyflower is more like me--shy and desperately trying to be funny.
I've been updating a lot lately--three updates in one week is something of a record for this slowpoke of a writer. I've been feeling a little restless and lot wistful, and writing stories is a way for me to combat that. But I think that updates will be slow once term starts again. Everything is kind of difficult when you're trying to get high enough grades to get into med school. So I apologize now for the long wait my few loyal readers and friends will have to "endure."
I try to keep sex out of my stories (or at least I've tried, and mostly succeeded, for the past couple of years). I think people can write beautiful stories without even touching on sex, and to tell the truth, I enjoy those well-written stories so much more than their racy counterparts. It takes a bit more talent and a lot more wisdom, I believe, to be able to write a good story without dwelling on something that nearly everybody wants to read about. (I also admit that religion has something to do with this stance of mine, so feel free to disagree and to abuse me to my face.) So if you're looking for racy scenes... I'm sorry, but you won't find them here; feel free to leave this page and look elsewhere. If, on the other hand, you enjoy stories in the same way, please mail me recommendations of well-written and conservatively rated stories, and I'll be very grateful. :)
