12 August 2004 This most humble person thanks you for reading his most vile creations . I've been wanting to start writing fanfictions for quite some time . The only thing that was holding me back was the fear that the quality of my writing may not of been as good as anyone else . I then realised a few things , namely : 1) My writing is going to be crap . No one gets it right on the first try . (sometimes I sound like a bad Japanese to english translation) 2) I have to be at one with my crapness . Its really the only way to improve 3) According to some forums , ff.net is a foul den of really bad ff writers. We can all be crap together . Let us unite in our crapness 4) I write slow with chapters of incredible length . I cannot get the hang of short scenes . I have trouble with speaking parts (finding words to describe what a character is thinking or saying...) [whips out and starts to study a dictionary of style and prose 5) This profile has a high probabilty of being too long and getting cut or deleted for use of the word crap .
