Author has written 6 stories for Teen Titans, Sweeney Todd, Discworld, Batman the Animated Series, Fairy Tales, Alice in Wonderland, and Catcher in the Rye. Let me start by saying that I am a Legend of Zelda/Teen Titans freak. Ok, scratch that. I'm a bit of a freak in general, with MANY well-loved "fandoms". With that said, I like to review, and I'll probably pop up all over the place, even where you least expect me... and stories based on other topics that may seem unusual for me will probably appear as well! Look, I need all of the help I can get as I wish to become an author, so please review my stories if you end up reading them. Criticism is GREATFULLY accepted. Now... on with the profile! Name: Just call me Saloma-Kiwi Age: Muah-ha-ha! I'll never tell! Location: (You have no idea how much I want to say "inside a book" right now) In Maryland... Education: High School (SAVE ME PLEASE!) Favorites Favorite Books: The Looking Glass Wars (You MUST read those!!), The Two Princesses of Bamarre, The Gaurdians of Ga'Hoole (GREAT book series), Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl(!), The Belgariad and The Mallorian, Eragon & Eldest, The Protector of the Small (Another GREAT book series), The Chronicles of Narnia, The Princess Bride, and The Phantom of the Opera Favorite Characters: That would really take too long... Favorite poets: Hermann Hesse, Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickenson, Shakespeare(!!) Favorite Game: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (The BEST game ever made) Favorite Movies: Silence of the Lambs, Les Miserables, The Pirates of the Caribbean, The Princess Bride Favorite Musical(s): "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street", and of course "The Phantom of the Opera" (an EXTREMELY close second); I am also fond of: "The Scarlet Pimpernel", "Wicked", "Monty Python's Spamalot", "Rent," and "Little Shop of Horrors" Favorite Shakespearean play (yes, this deserves its own category): "Much Ado About Nothing" Favorite Quotes Section! "There is no poetry without madness." --Democritus "To go into acting is like asking for admission to an insane asylum. Anyone may apply, but only the certifiably insane are admitted."--Anon. “My characters shall have, after a little trouble, all that they desire.” – Jane Austen "Only those things are beautiful which are inspired by madness and written by reason." --Andre Gide Favorite Random Quotes: Me: "Are you ok?" MyWeirdFriend: "I hope not." "Besides, tis people like us who make pathetic kool..." --XxTotallyObsessedxX "Why do we love sociopaths? slow grin the ultimate fixer-upper, I think. Some gals go for the guy that needs a little work. Sociopaths need a LOT. Also, there's the greatest perk of all: got enemies, annoyances, creepy ex-boyfriends? Take pet sociopath, point, direct, and sit back and cackle." --FlitShadowflame (on deviantart.com) "What could be more fun than exploding marshmellows?" --Me My little Brother: "We're going on a shopping spree!" Me: "Around the world?" Little Brother: "Doesn't everybody?" Me: "Yeah... everybody that owns a magical flying dragon." Little Brother: "...That's just me, isn't it?" Dad: "Them be the Rolling Stones." Mom: "Them be too old to be wearing spandex!" "BEWARE THE FANGIRLS!" --Me in a review Favorite Game Quote: "Your face... what is your true face? The face behinde the mask... is that really your true face?" -- The Fourth Moon Child -- Majora's Mask Favorite TV Show Quotes: " 'Cuz nuthin' says fun like knockin' a boy off a horse with a stick!" --Teranee-- W.I.T.C.H. Cyborg: "Lesson One, don't throw me down a hole unless you make sure I STAY there!" Starfire: "Lesson Two, we NEVER give up! Raven: "Lesson Three, your 'secret lair' isn't so secret." -- Teen Titains, "Titains, Together" "I'm quite vicious when I want to be."--The Ghostwriter--Danny Phantom Favorite Movie Quotes: "Who put the nut in charge of the nuthouse?" --Falcone to Dr. Crane (Scarecrow), "Batman Begins" "I see you took my advice about theatrics a bit--literally." Ra's Al Ghul to Batman, "Batman Begins" "The penguins are PSYCOTIC!" Alex the Lion, "Madagascar" (And of course) "Why is the rum gone?" --Captain Jack Sparrow, "Pirates of the Caribbean" Favorite Book Quotes: "However great the service you rendered him, Erik may end by forgetting it; and you know that nothing can restrain Erik, not even Erik himself." --Erik-- Gaston Leroux, The Phantom of the Opera "If Erik's secrets cease to be Erik's secrets, it will be a bad lookout for a goodly number of the human race!" -- Erik-- Gaston Leroux, The Phantom of the Opera "AS YOU WISH!!" Westley (who else?), The Princess Bride "INCONCIEVEABLE!" Vizzini, The Princess Bride Favorite FanFic Quotes: "With enough tea, even a mad world could make some sense." --'Genesis', written by Bright Nova "It is an odd thing, but asylums are possibly one of the best places to go if you want to become truly mad. Assylums cause insanity just as bees cause honey and romances cause the sales of Kleenex to rise." --'Homesick', written by Checkerboards "If there’s anything left of you after that then I’ll gather your remains and sell them at a high price to Professor Snape for potion ingredients." --Strix Moonwing--Teen Idol-- written by StarfireK EXTRA Stuff about me: I'm a HUGE bookworm and geek (but I'm sure you already gathered that). I have been known to act a bit... dare I say it... fangirly at times, but those times are a bit rare. I prefer to refer to those moments as "geeking", not "fangirling." I am also a particularly hopeless Hopeless Romantic, so all of my stories will have at least a little romance in them. Please Read and Review! They're not THAT bad, I promise... | |||||||||
