LSX's Guide to a Good Fanfiction (AND Author/Authoress):
1. First and most important rule: Learn, Acknowledge, Eat, Sleep, and Breathe of the word 'Fanfiction'.
2. Give priority to the above said rule.
3. Anything can be written, said, and read of practically ANYTHING. Also ANYBODY and EVERYBODY can write the said 'anything'!
4. Important rule: If using characters, plot, idea, etc. that is rightfully owned, you must do DISCLAIMERS.
5. Choose a good subject for yourself to recreate and/or procreate into your will and judgement.
6. Do not be disheartened by flamers. Happens all the time.
7. In prior to the previous rule, do no become a flamer yourself just in spite or getting back at the community.
8. If stuck on ideas, read many other fellow author/authoress' works. BUT! DO NOT LEECH! If you want it, adopt it then.
9. If you happened to have 'leeched' or plagiarized accidently, give sincere apology to the rightful author(ess)(s).
10. In addition to rule #8 and #9, do not continue in the same path as the original author(ess)(s). Create your own path.
11. No matter how much it seems satisfying or enjoyable, please refrain from bashing characters.
