I've been writing fanfiction as far back as I can remember, which means that I've been writing in some form or another since I was very small. I love "The X-Files", "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", "Underworld", "Star Wars", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "The Princess Diaries", "Roar", "10 Things I Hate About You", "Harry Potter", and "The Lord Of The Rings".

For the past two years, I've been a panelist at a science fiction/fantasy symposium, on panels for LOTR. I'm learning to speak Sindarin, and try to be as accurate as possible to Tolkien's tongues as I can be. I do not tolerate imitation Elvish, such as that by the Grey Company. (In fact, I know so much about LOTR that I can win LOTR Trivial Pursuit in five minutes or less. I actually did that, and now my friends won't play with me unless all I do is ask the question. :P)

I do a lot of reading, in many genres, including science fiction, fantasy, gothic horror, romance, and mystery. Some of my favourite authors are Meggin Cabot, Diana Gabaldon, Laurell K. Hamilton, Kevin J. Anderson, Rebecca Moesta, J.R.R. Tolkien, William Shakespeare, Bram Stoker, Carolyn G. Hart, and Barbara Paul.

I listen intensively to Matchbox Twenty, Savage Garden, Darren Hayes, and Richard Marx. I also enjoy U2, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, New Order, Joy Division, Sarah McLachlan, Dogstar, Lifehouse, Chicago, Journey, Celine Dion, The Police, Sting, and the works of John Williams and Howard Shore.
