Author has written 7 stories for Firebringer Trilogy, and Stargate: SG-1. Hiya! My name is DT (well, not really, but my real name is none of your business, anyway). I live in Boston, I'm a complete Red Sox fanatic, and I love anime and manga. A lot. And science fiction/fantasy. Best genre ever, damnit. I've seen a lot of different anime and read a whole bunch more manga, but my top favorites, in no particular order, are Bleach, Fushigi Yugi, Cowboy Bebop, xxxHOLiC, Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Yami no Matsuei, Count Cain/Godchild, Dragon Knights, Saiyuki, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Zombie Powder. When it comes to American comics, though, only two make my list: The Sandman and Fables. I'm big on video games - World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy (VII, VIII, X, and XII being the ones I've played), Kingdom Hearts (I and II), Rise of Nations and the Age of Empires RTS series being my picks. And yes, I do play the Pokemon Gameboy/DS games - they're a necessary guilty pleasure For books, I adore anything written by J.R.R. Tolkien, H.P. Lovecraft, Jacqueline Carey, Meredith Ann Pierce, Anne Bishop, Naomi Novik, E.E. Knight, Brandon Sanderson, R.A. Salvatore, Mercedes Lackey, Simon R. Green, and Jim Butcher. My all time favorite series is the Firebringer Trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce; few others come close to the absolute awe I feel every time I read this series. I don't much care for movies (my few exceptions are The Lord of the Rings, Hidalgo, the original Star Wars trilogy, The Hunt for Red October, 300, Batman Begins, the Pirates of the Caribbean series, anything by Mel Brooks, and Serenity), although I watch a variety of TV shows. My top favorites are Stargate: SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Firefly, Criminal Minds, and CSI (the original only), but I watch a bunch of others (and Tin Man has recently stolen my heart and soul). Mostly I just read books and fic. Speaking of which, when it comes to fic, I read almost anything and everything. Het, yaoi/slash, yuri/femmeslash... So long as the grammar and spelling are decent, I'll read it. Pairings? Anything. And I mean that, too. The whackier the pairing the better, in some cases. I don't write a lot of fic myself - most of the time I'm more of an original fantasy writers. I'm helped along by my seven muses: August 19, 2007: Well, this embarrassing... I haven't written/posted anything in a really, really long time. I have no excuse, and I apologize. Will I ever get something new up? God only knows... | |||||||||||
