Author has written 33 stories for Sorceror Stabber Orphen, Weiss Kreuz, Vampire Hunter D, Howl's Moving Castle, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Saiyuki. I mostly write for Weiss Kreuz. And, my stories are almost always centered on Aya and Yohji, as they are my favorite characters from the show. In general, I don't start posting a fic until I have completed it and am in the final edit phase, so anything listed under my profile is "complete", even if it is not totally posted yet. I am a slow writer, because I have a busy life. I have a small child, who takes up most of my day, leaving me very little free time in which to write. As of around August 2007, I consider myself semi-retired from fanfiction. I still write and post the occasional story, but I have decided to spend more of my free time working on my own original fiction. NOTE: A recent, unkind (anonymous) review has served to remind me of a little project I have needed to do for some time. I have quite a few stories that I wrote years ago, and I really need to revisit them. In the time elapsing since having first written those fics, I have done some additional research and thinking about the fandom involved ... and, of course, my thoughts regarding the fandom and the characters within it have changed. We are talking a span of several years here, during which I hope I have grown, changed, and improved as a writer. Having those early stories up on ff.net has bothered me for a long time now, so I will be revisiting them in the coming days and months. It will be a slow process, but I hope to look at each one to decide its fate: do I edit it to something more presentable? or do I declare it a lost cause and take it down altogether? Needless to say, there are likely to be some much-needed changes happening in my ff.net story list. To the person who left the review: I am in no way complaining about what you said in your review. In fact, I happen to agree with most of it. It is a shame you left your thoughts anonymously, because it prevented me from telling you this via a reply email. I am also not revisiting the story in question (as well as several others) because of your review. This is something I have planned on doing for a long time. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts with me (no matter how painful the experience), as well as the not-so-gentle reminder that I really should not let this little project sit around undone for much longer -- particularly considering I do not post new fic very often these days. | |||||||||||
